✨DIY SOS style help needed -please share ✨
Team Ty I need your help. As you know I was recently gifted the lovely Harry caravan. He is light, bright and full of love but is an older caravan who has not been used for over a year so needs some TLC to get him ready for some very special visitors in 2024. By April I hope to start offering FREE and heavily subsidised short breaks to:
•children/adults receiving palliative care
•bereaved parents
•children who have lost a parent
•young disabled adults (I have learnt there isn’t much out there once you reach adulthood!)
•families with a child with disabilities
•young carers
•adoptive/foster families
•others experiencing exceptional circumstances

The caravan is wheelchair accessible, has a wetroom and profiling bed so priority will be given to families who can make most use of the facilities.

To do this I need to:
•raise £7500 a year (site fees, insurance, water, electricity etc)
•get a hoist
•some painting and maintenance
•big clean inside and out
•new curtains made
•profiling bed donated ✔️
•microwave ✔️
•new sofa bed frame and mattress for inside sofa
•new fold up bed to go in bedroom with profiling bed in case a parent/carer needs to sleep in room too.
•New bedding
•new short mattresses for bunk beds
