If you’re looking out across Portland Harbour and Weymouth Bay this week, and wondering what’s going on out there, this week is the ILCA UK National Championships, hosted here at the Sailing Academy for this Olympic Class.
With 240 competitors, mostly from the U.K., but with visiting teams from as far away as Switzerland, the Cayman Islands, China, Australia and New Zealand, the racing is due to go on until Tuesday, when the new Champions will be crowned.🏆
For many of the competitors, this event is another step towards achieving their Olympic ambitions, representing their countries at the highest levels👍🏽😎🥇
