Coastal & Country Coaches are a well-known, respected, family run business that has been an established part of our community since 1947. We have an excellent reputation for being reliable and experienced in travel around North Yorkshire and the UK. The Company provide a wide range of services including vintage travel onto the North Yorkshire Moors and the open top tour service in Whitby as well as providing Home to School Transport, private hire and longer term contracts.

Fancy a Pint? Or perhaps Brunch or even some Lunch. There are many reasons why you would visit the Fat The Fat Badger Whitby.

BUT now we have one more great reason. Starting today until the end of September the Whitby Town Tour Bus is running the exclusive FAT BADGER EXPRESS.
The bus will take you from the car parks/ Train station in town straight up to the Badger. Tickets are £3 each but here is the deal!

Present the ticket at the bar of the Fat The Fat Badger Whitby and we will take the ticket price of your food or drinks bill.

So jump on't buzz and get thee sen a pint. See you in the Badger....

1. The customer can buy a Fat Badger Express ticket in Whitby and board at any stop from the Station/ Car Parks in the centre of town.
2. The ticket cost is £3 per person for the 2 stop journey.
3. For the time period up until September 30th any Badger Express ticket produced at the bar will be redeemed as a discount against a food or drink order.
4. Discounts can only be applied to orders over £3.
5. One ticket can be used per transaction in the bar – Restaurant transactions can use a multiple of two tickets for a seated meal and a transaction value over £50.
6. Transactions and discounts will only be issued on bar or restaurant payments made in person and do not apply to app orders.
7. Till operators must take the ticket and leave in the till as proof of transaction.
8. Discounts can only be given to tickets purchased Mon / Friday 10 – 4 equally the discount only applies within these time frames
9. Ticket discounts only apply on the day of purchase
10. No discounts apply at the weekend or outside of the times listed.

That's a wrap, school year 2024/2025!

The last 6 weeks have flown by, with plenty of contracts, day trips and excursions with our regular and new customers.

We have got through it again, with a few minor blips and now it's time to have a few relaxing weeks.

We would like to thank all our staff, suppliers and customers for making 2025 our busiest year, since pre Covid.

Now it's time to start getting 4 coaches ready for their MOT'S in August, ready for schools returning in September.
