Με αφορμή την επέτειο για τα 200 χρόνια από την Έξοδο του Μεσολογγίου, η Somewhere We Know σε συνεργασία με τους Φίλους της ΜΕΡΙΜΝΑΣ προσκαλούν εσάς και τους φίλους σας, να συμμετάσχετε σε μια μονοήμερη εκδρομή στο Μεσολόγγι, σε μια ξεχωριστή πόλη, γεμάτη ιστορία και πολιτισμό την Παρασκευή 5 Ιουνίου 2026.

Μαζί θα ακολουθήσουμε τα ίχνη της ελληνικής ιστορίας και θα επισκεφθούμε σημαντικά τοπόσημα που συνδέονται με τον Αγώνα της Ανεξαρτησίας και τη διαμόρφωση του νεότερου ελληνικού κράτους. Παράλληλα, θα έχουμε τη σπάνια ευκαιρία να γνωρίσουμε από κοντά το περίφημο αριστούργημα του Eugène Delacroix «Η Ελλάδα στα Ερείπια του Μεσολογγίου» που θα βρίσκεται στο Μεσολόγγι για λίγο καιρό ακόμα, και, για πρώτη φορά μετά τη δημιουργία του, να βρεθούμε στην ίδια την πόλη που ενέπνευσε τον καλλιτέχνη.

Κατά τη διάρκεια της ξενάγησης μας, θα επισκεφθούμε τον ιστορικό Κήπο των Ηρώων, το Ξενοκράτειο Μουσείο όπου εκτίθεται το εμβληματικό έργο του Delacroix, καθώς και το Τρικούπειο Πολιτιστικό Κέντρο με σημαντικά έργα αφιερωμένα στην ιστορία της πόλης, όπως η «Αυτοθυσία της μάνας» του de Lansac και η αυθεντική «Έξοδος του Μεσολογγίου» του Θεόδωρου Βρυζάκη.

Η ημέρα μας θα ολοκληρωθεί με έναν όμορφο περίπατο και στάσεις για φαγητό και φωτογραφίες στη μαγευτική λιμνοθάλασσα της Τουρλίδας, πριν επιστρέψουμε στην Αθήνα γεμάτοι εικόνες και μοναδικές εμπειρίες.
