On Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September 2026, admission to archaeological sites, museums and monuments managed by the Greek Ministry of Culture will be free as part of European Heritage Days.

It’s a lovely opportunity to explore places such as the Palace of Knossos and Spinalonga. Plan a day around Crete’s stories, landscapes and culture, and make the most of this special weekend.
