Cretan Holidays introduces ” - A New Tradition of Knowledge & Inspiration
On February 21st, we embarked on a groundbreaking journey with the launch of (ΣυνΔέσεις) our very first company-wide “talks event”.
Its name, meaning , was chosen to inspire our people to connect—both with knowledge and with one another. As a people-oriented company, we aim to raise questions and concerns on everyday issues, extending beyond the workplace, and create an environment that fosters dialogue and interaction, driving personal and professional growth.
Hosted at the amphitheater of the Ελληνικό Μεσογειακό Πανεπιστήμιο - Hellenic Mediterranean University to whom we extend our sincere gratitude for their hospitality—the event brought together all our employees based in Crete for a day of thought-provoking talks designed to inform, inspire, and spark new ways of thinking. To ensure everyone stays connected, the full event video will be shared with colleagues in other destinations.
The first edition of delved into topics analyzed by distinguished guest speakers, including "ESG (by Giannis Aspirtakis - ErgoProlipsis)," "Brain Gymnastics" (by Alexia Mary Tzortzaki, Ph.D.), "Stress Management" (by Fotini Paschidou and "Hidden Forms of Violence" (by Maneta).

🔹 Brain Gymnastics – Techniques to enhance cognitive function, boost positivity, and strengthen mental agility.
🔹 Stress Management – Practical strategies for balance, emotional resilience, and overall well-being.
🔹 Hidden Forms of Violence – Raising awareness of subtle yet harmful behaviors, promoting a culture of respect and inclusion.
Each topic sparked reflection, inspired action, and reinforced our commitment to lifelong learning and personal growth.
