Sri Lanka Recap | Part 3: Adventure & New Horizons (Days 8–14) ✈️

The journey didn’t end when the school renovation wrapped up! We spent our final week fully immersing ourselves in everything Sri Lanka has to offer. 🗺️✨
* Days 8–10 🏝️🤿 Headed to Trincomalee for snorkeling, caught unforgettable wildlife on a safari, and climbed the iconic Sigiriya Lion Rock! 🐘🦁
* Days 11–14 🎓🌆 Spent a full day sharing and learning at the university conference, followed by a city tour of Colombo’s landmarks—including the Parliament, Chinese Embassy, Lotus Tower, and Port City.
Thank God, our team has officially made it safely back home to Hong Kong! ❤️ The projects are built, the connections are made, and these memories are locked in forever. 📸

Sri Lanka Recap | Part 2: Making an Impact & Celebrating Ties (Days 5–7) 🇱🇰

The momentum didn’t stop as we headed into the final stretch of our school project! Days 5 through 7 were an absolute whirlwind of hard work, learning, and unforgettable community bonds.

Group 2, 3, and 4 sequentially took charge of the classrooms, bringing fresh energy and lessons to the kids each day. Meanwhile, our construction crews kept pushing hard—breaking down walls, fetching fresh building materials, and putting the final touches of paint on the school. We officially wrapped up the school renovation project! 💪🎨🔨

It wasn’t all heavy lifting, though. We fully immersed ourselves in the cultural history of Sri Lanka with a breathtaking visit to the ancient city of Anuradhapura, exploring its sacred temples and historic landmarks.🛕✨ We also had the privilege of conducting meaningful home visits to connect deeper with local families.

And of course, we celebrated the only way we know how: with endless energy! From a high-spirited disco night to our final farewell performance at the school, the trip wrapped up in a massive, joyful dance party. 🕺💃
The projects are built, the classrooms are painted, and the memories are locked in 🥹❤️

Sri Lanka Recap | Part 1: Arrival & Hands-On Action (Days 1–4) 🇱🇰

Four days down, and our team hit the ground running! After landing in Sri Lanka on Day 1, we settled into our home base at Inspire Village and jumped straight into community service. Days 2 and 3 were packed with heavy-duty physical labor—moving mud and laying concrete—balanced with a relaxing afternoon and an evening Sinhala language class to connect with the local culture.

Day 4 kicked off with an optional morning church visit before diving right back into digging, with our highest-energy volunteers staying out late into the night to get the work done! Between the heavy lifting, we kept spirits high with team-building games, featuring an epic team battle between returning SCI participants Numan and Ronnie. The energy is high, but the work is just getting started—stay tuned for Part 2! ➡️

3 Pre-Trip Workshops Complete | Next Stop: Sri Lanka! 🇱🇰

3 sessions, 25 incredible participants, and endless energy! Over the past few weeks, our team has been coming together to prepare for an unforgettable journey ahead. 🎒🤝
