These two lovebirds! First piknik order for Bacine lakes - certainly a nice quiet alternative - a lush green oasis of peaceful nature when the coast is hopping busy. And yes I do orders up on the Makarska riviera region which has scenic spots around every corner - like this lookout point above the lakes that I sent them to for their anniversary picnic! ❤️

Haha! From the archives - who on earth takes this cream filled pastry thing to the beach?! Someone did - all the way to the tip of Zlatni rat beach on Brac island( no short walk in August heat), where I would go mostly for the people watching during my fine summer on the island many years ago!

Ploce ribarski noc 🤪. Full square of stirring pots of brudet, risottos. Seafood etc - some good people watching too. Last year I made the note to return - impressive!

When I parked to walk into my house I looked up at the starry skies as I always do - snapped this pinhole camera like image - everything soft except those sharp stars!

Another quirky event ! čikarijada - at old bridge in Opuzen there is the Competizione of throwing foam filled espresso cups ( so they float) into the river - winner threw Almost 70 metres! Fun !

Well the well ran dry - thats how devastatingly dry this summer has been - in the Olives my huge water cistern fed by a spring has run dry! So I descendencije from my perch up high and went for a little drive and explore some trails around Bacine lakes where it is cooler temps.
