Only once in a lifetime one have an oportunity to participate on such an excavation field.
STOBREČ, EPETION, EPETIUM- a Prehistoric, Helleistic, Roman, Late Antiquity settlement. One day books describing Stobreč and importance of it will make a difference.

For me, it was a life-changing experience. I arrived with a broken heart, and I am leaving with a broken heart—and almost without any hope or faith in friendship, honor, or the meaning of life!

Stobreč! Epetion! Epetium! Prehistoric, Greek, Roman and modern day settlement! So small, and so big on an archaeological map! ❤️

It's been a month of excavation! Flew so fast! So many layers, buckets full of dirt, small bone and metal objects and thousand of ceramic peaces! 🤩

Being an archaeologist is not for the weak and impatient! 😎💪 🌞🌧🌬⚡️❄️⛱️ After three or four months of hard work, you need a chiropractor, a masseur, and a break. 🤕 Everyday you find joy in a privilige of excavating and presenting your national heritage, legacy if you like! 🇭🇷 ❤️🤍💙

But, nothing compares to the fact you meet exceptional people, companions on your path!

Indeed, Stobreč has a special place in my heart! 🥰💯❤️
