*Cihu: The Cihu Building is known for being the burial place of Chiang Kai-shek. It is also a place for people from around the world to pay respects to this great man. The area includes front and rear Cihu. The lakeside scenery is fascinating. The weeping willow trees are just as beautiful as those in China’s southern areas. As the scenery of this place is similar to that of Fenghua in China’s Zhejiang -- the home town of Chiang Kai-shek -- he named this place Cihu in remembrance of his benevolent mother. He also built a summer residence there. He was buried in Cihu after his death in 1975.
*Daxi Old Street: Daxi was one of the earliest developed areas in Taoyuan Small yachts plying between the Dahan Creek and the Danshui River helped trade with the Chinese mainland thrive. The thriving trade gave rise to many trading stores and businessmen. The baroque architectural style was popular during the Japanese colonial rule of Japan’s Taisho era. The picture patterns including Greek mountains, Roman columns, Chinese style fish, and bats seen at the stores on Heping and Zhongshan Old Streets are a mixture of baroque, Taiwanese, Greek, and Roman styles. This is one of the characteristics of Daxi.
*Neiwan Old Street: To experience the Hakka old life style and own expense to taste some Hakka traditional small dishes.

*Fisherman’s Wharf: Fisherman's Wharf is a multi-purpose leisure fishing port developed by the New Taipei City Government. There are magnificent floating piers and a spacious park, with a bridge in the shape of a boat spanning across the harbor and a wooden path stretching over 300 meters at the waterfront. It is relaxing to lean against the fence enjoying the breeze and sights at the Tamsui River mouth.
*Danshuei Old Street: It’s a place where the Tamsui River meets the Taiwan Strait . More than just a great place for fresh seafood, nature provides the town with beautiful views. Like Keelung, Tamsui has a colorful history.
