“What should I wear in Italy?” is one of the questions I hear the most.

And I get it — you want to feel right, not out of place.

But here’s the truth: Italy is not a movie set.

People are not watching you the way you think they are.

Wear something comfortable.

Respect the places you visit.

And then… forget about it.

The best outfit you can bring to Italy is ease.

March 25 was once New Year’s Day in Florence.
But that’s only the surface.

It marked the Annunciation — the moment of divine transformation.

And Dante deliberately begins his journey into the Inferno on this exact date.

For medieval thinkers, time was symbolic.

Certain days represented thresholds between worlds.

Florence still holds these hidden layers — if you know where to look.

Context changes everything.

"A VERY short love story"

Starring:

as knocking hand and cameraman

"A night in Florence, 1 wine window, 2 young people in love... with wine" 🍷

What are they saying to each other? What happened at the end? Nobody knows, not even the restaurant owners 🤣🤣🤣🤣

"Santa Maria Novella was Florence’s first cathedral"

Not quite — but I heard this from unofficial guides!

📍**Santa Maria Novella** is one of the most important **Dominican churches** in Florence, but it was **never the city’s cathedral**.

⛪ The *first* official cathedral of Florence was **San Lorenzo**, consecrated in **393 AD**, long before Santa Maria Novella was even started.

Later, the title of cathedral was transferred to **Santa Reparata** (which once stood beneath today’s Duomo), and eventually to **Santa Maria del Fiore**, the current cathedral.

🤯 See how much history gets lost?

Real guides don’t just show you pretty churches — we bring clarity, context, and centuries of story into focus.

📩 DM me to book a real tour, with real history — not fairy tales.

Travel can be consumption... or it can be transformation.

Standing in Piazza dei Miracoli, inside a cathedral, beneath a dome — you always have a choice.

You can collect images... or you can collect understanding.

The places I guide are not backdrops.
They are expressions of power, faith, ambition, genius — built by people who believed their vision would outlive them.

And the experience changes depending on how you decide to stand in front of them.

When I work with someone, I care about that choice.

I care about creating space for curiosity, reflection, and real connection.

I don’t believe in rushing through beauty.
I believe in absorbing it.

If you travel to feel something — not just to see it —
we will understand each other very well.

We remember artists.
We remember conquerors.

But we rarely remember the mathematician who reshaped how Europe calculated trade, growth, and proportion.

Fibonacci didn’t build monuments.

He built systems.

And systems outlive monuments.

Context changes everything.

A tourist trap doesn’t announce itself.

It feels easy. It feels obvious. It feels central.

And that’s exactly why it works.

If you want Florence to taste better, look better, feel better — step slightly away from the obvious.

The Renaissance wasn’t built on convenience.

Why should your experience be?

Context changes everything.

Now I’m going to ask you something important.

Are you ready to be the guide who says what other guides are thinking but won’t say publicly?

Because that’s the lane you’re stepping into. And it’s a powerful one.

History remembers remarkable women.

Some protected culture. Some challenged power. Some created opportunities for others.

But this post is also for the countless women whose names are not written in history books.

Women navigating expectations, responsibilities, and invisible pressures — and still moving forward with dignity.

Their strength may not appear in museums or monuments.

Yet it quietly shapes the world.
