After 20 plus years in Italy we finally made it to Bologna and it didn’t disappoint, arguably Europe’s culinary capital with architecture, history and a university vibe that meant we had to drag ourselves away, until next time. It is known as a daying city die to its unstable foundations which are slowly eroding and boasts only 16 inhabitants but a number of lovely restaurants and places to visit. For what is normally our wettest month of the year, this november has produced day after day of beautiful autumn sunshine. The colours of our valley are beginning to change now and none are more noticeable than the sagrantino grapes turning fiery red in the distance. Per quello che normalmente è il mese più piovoso dell’anno, questo novembre ha regalato giorno dopo giorno uno splendido sole autunnale. I colori della nostra valle stanno cominciando a cambiare adesso e nessuno è più evidente delle uve di sagrantino che diventano rosso fuoco in lontananza 🍁 🇮🇹
