Happy new year!!

The temperature was -8.5ºC/16.7ºF this morning at Kusatsu.
Although it is so cold, your body will be warm immediately when you take the onsen.

December has come.
The Christmas tree stands by the Yubatake now.
Its lighting is so colorful than last year.
Thereby,Yubatake has become so gorgeous.
This event "Yubatake tree and illumination" will continue until February 16.

In Kusatsu Onsen,The autumn leaf season has already begun that is earlier than Tokyo.
And first snowfall will be in November.

At Yubatake,Christmas tree is setting up now.It will be decorated soon.And the lighting ceremony will be held on November 15,it will be lit until February 16 like a second image.

The festival of Shirane Shrine is held in 17th and 18th July.
A lot of Omikoshi (Portable shrine) are carried by people and go around Yubatake and other area.
The highlight is 6 pm to 9 pm JST.

We will hold fireworks display.It will set off at 8 p.m. on March 2nd.
The launch spot is nearby the ski resort.And the fireworks look wide in the town other than the launch spot.
Of course the view from the ski resort is spectacular.You can see it with a skiing or snowboarding.

Don't miss that moment!! And make a precious memory.

Kusatsu Onsen Ski Resort where is on the west side of the Kusatsu town has opened today! It was felt powdery snow last night.Snow condition is so good!!
