富山市・岩瀬の春を彩る「岩瀬曳山車祭」。

日中は、11本の曳山車が個性豊かな“たてもん”を揺らしながら、岩瀬のまちなかを練り歩きます。

古い町並みに、お囃子の音。
港町らしい風情を感じる時間です。

そして夜、祭りはいよいよクライマックスへ。

巨大な山車どうしが激しくぶつかり合う“曳き合い”。
その迫力から「けんか山車」とも呼ばれています。

昼の美しさと、夜の熱気。
岩瀬のまちが祭り一色に染まる2日間です。

The Iwase Hikiyama Festival brings spring energy to the historic port town of Iwase in Toyama City.

During the day, 11 beautifully decorated festival floats parade through the streets, accompanied by traditional festival music echoing through the old townscape.

Then, late at night, the festival reaches its climax.

Huge floats collide with each other in a powerful event called “Hikiai.”
The impact is so intense that the festival is also known as the “fighting floats festival.”

The contrast between the elegant daytime atmosphere and the dramatic nighttime excitement is one of the festival’s greatest highlights.

4月下旬〜5月中旬頃、田植え前のわずかな時期だけに出会える風景です。

風がない早朝や夕方は、水面が穏やかになり、立山連峰がきれいに映るチャンス。

日中は風の影響で水鏡は少し難しいですが、その分、新緑と雪の残る立山連峰をくっきり楽しめます。

同じ場所、同じ構図でも、時間が変わるだけで、立山連峰の表情はこんなにも変わります。

The Tateyama Mountain Range reflected in rice fields.

This scenery can only be seen for a short period from late April to mid-May, before the rice planting season begins.

On calm mornings or evenings with little wind, the water surface becomes mirror-like, creating beautiful reflections of the mountains.

During the daytime, the wind often makes perfect reflections difficult, but in return, you can enjoy the vivid fresh greenery and the snow-covered Tateyama Mountain Range under clear light.

Even at the same location and with the same composition, the mountains look completely different depending on the time of day.
