Do you know elephant calf can weigh upto 200 pounds and be 3 feet tall at birth?

Unlike other wild animals, aren't born with many survival skills. They rely on their mothers to learn all their survival skills just like humans. They rely on their mothers mllk from birth and get weaned to about the age of 10 years when they can comfortably feed on vegetations.

When we were young we made it a goal to celebrate every public holiday. It was huge.

Now, Utamaduni Day (formerly Moi Day) is fast approaching, slated for 10th October.

You can tag along as we get to enjoy nature and a raft of exciting activities including Zip Lining, Archery, Horse Riding and Nature Walk at Kipkaren River Resort in Eldoret.

PS: We postponed our Rimoi National Reserve Game Drive due to extreme weather conditions. We'll communicate a later date for the same.
