I don't know the situation, predicament or stubborn limitations that you have been going through but I am here to encourage you.
Maybe you’ve prayed and prayed. You've held on to what little faith you could muster. You have believed with everything within you! So why still no answer? It’s not about how many times you’ve prayed, how many tears you've shed. Sometimes it’s simply just not the right time yet. God wants you to know timing is involved. It’s also about positioning. It’s about learning the right lessons. It’s about getting to the right place. It’s about waiting for the right season. Do not fear. Do not be discouraged. Do not lose heart. Do not believe the lies of the enemy. Do not stop looking for your miracle. There’s a time coming, and it’s already been spoken, established, and done!
"He has made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time. He has also planted eternity [a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]—yet man cannot find out (comprehend, grasp) what God has done (His overall plan) from the beginning to the end." Ecclesiastes 3:11.
Do not give up, your time is coming and it'll end well. Be encouraged.R.

Life isolates you when you are meant for big things. Every champion has an isolation period. Jesus had 40 days in the desert. Muhammad had years in the cave. Isolation removes noise, removes fake friends, removes shortcuts. Use the quiet time to sharpen your mind. When the spotlight comes back, you'll be ready. If you're feeling isolated right now, this might not be a bad thing. This might be preparation. Every successful person I know had a period where they felt alone and misunderstood. But they used that time to build something. And when they came out of isolation, they were unstoppable. So if you're isolated right now, don't waste it complaining about being lonely. This is your training session. Build in silence and let your success speak for itself later.

I would like to encourage you with a story of how I did hit rock bottom after resigning from a job prematurely but by the grace of God, Kujiamini, Kujipenda, Kuamka, kujituma, Kujichocha kiasi na Kutrust God was able to rise again. I'll give this encouragement title THE JOURNEY OF BECOMING - THE PROCESS.
When I resigned from formal employment in 2015 as the St John Ambulance Training Manager, things didn't work out the way I had planned and in less than 3 months I had consumed all my savings. We really struggled and opted to travel back to our Shags in Murunyu - Nakuru but my family discouraged me and pushed me to fight on and look for other opportunities in Nairobi.
I visited several banks with business proposals to fund the ideas that I had but none was willing to fund me. One of the ideas that I had was to start Nairobi Safety Shop which is now the largest one stop Safety Shop in Africa which supplies thousands of varieties of quality Safety, Health and Security Products and Makinika Afrika Intl a First Aid and Safety Training company
You see, You want to borrow some money from the bank? Well, how much money have you saved/invested there? That's life, you reap from what you sow. Lesson learnt. Back then no bank could fund me even with Ksh 10,000 but today they keep following me begging to give me some credit facilities.
After realizing it was not possible to get funding I opted to spend the time I had training first aid skills to riders, communities around and people in the market and would spend most of my time training them at different parts of Githurai 44 and 45 for free and my friend Mike Ndirangu would sometimes accompany me. It is through this that doors started opening and would regularly get formal invitations to train after people noted my passion and dedication and I remember one day I was invited by some women to train their chama group at Thome Estate and they paid me Ksh 8,000 for a 1hr session and also paid for my Uber to and from Githurai . Women Chamas started engaging me to train them and their house girls and would occasionally be invited by Churches, Schools, Gated estate members, companies and other registered groups. This is after they saw my First Aid and Safety posts on social media or found me on the streets training people for free. Even families would invite me to go train them at their homes and give me some cash that kept us going.

Your purpose/value is in the problems you solve. People will pay you to solve a problem. Find it, refine it, live your purpose and prosper. Don't just sit there hoping that people will hire you because of the problem you have, no one cares. They hire and pay you because of the value they get from you.
If you help other people get what they want, you will always get what you need. They will pay you when you help them get what they need.
I focused on Safety matters and day and night I was thinking, doing, writing, posting and planning safety until the 2016 declaration of Ambassador Of Safety at KICC when I was set up in a big event but my 3mins presentation on Safety changed the course of my life. An opportunity knocked and met a passionate and prepared person and since then I got the nickname Ambassador of Safety (please check my previous post on Facebook on how this happened).
In the process of volunteering to train people on Safety a friend took a bank loan and funded me to establish a Safety Company and shop after admiring my passion. I didn't request for his support, he requested to support my ideas. Today I have 3 different Safety companies all helping people and institutions build a culture of Safety and become safety compliant. I have now employed a lot of young people who are earning their daily bread and supporting their families by me realizing and pursuing my dream.
A culture of Safety is an ideal which I hope to live for and to achieve but if need be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die for.
If you Google 'Ambassador of Safety' you'll see my Safety work globally. All online Search platforms including Chatgpt, AI, Google etc has recognized my work as the Global Ambassador of Safety.
My day to day activities are all embedded in helping build a culture of Safety.
I have written hundreds of Safety articles, received numerous recognitions, travelled to different continents and Authored a 474 pages Safety Manual https://www.ambstevembugua.co.ke/…/building-a-culture…/ which is being used by learning institutions and safety professionals globally. The Book is titled BUILDING A CULTURE OF SAFETY which is in my mission of helping build a culture of safety.

I applied these 10 keys and they worked for me:-
1. Purpose - pursued my purpose and mission of helping build a culture of Safety.
2. Perception - Viewed myself as the best in the field of safety even though I didn't have formal Safety training certification. Image before dominion.
3. Potential - I had something to offer and kept working on it as I displayed it to the world.
4. Passion - I did what I liked and did it with love and got fulfilment from it even without any monetary returns.
5. Principles - There are some rules and laws in this universe including the law of trustworthy, diligence, sacrifice, hard work, compassion, consistency, discipline, giving, Godliness etc
6. Plan - I always had a strategy and was never affected by lack of limitations.
7. People - People are the keys, ladder and connection to the next level. I always value , honor and respect people regardless of their status.
8. Persistence - It wears out resistance
9. Perseverance - Dedication, Commitment, Consistence, Endurance and Focus
10. Prayer - There's power in trusting in God and involving Him in every friend. Not just Asking from Him but Seeking to know His will.

Encouragement Tips for the Journey of Becoming

1. Embrace the Process – Growth takes time; every step, even the small ones, counts.

2. See Delays as Preparation – Closed doors don’t mean denial; sometimes they mean refinement.

3. Stay Consistent – Opportunities often meet those who are already moving, not those who stopped waiting.

4. Focus on Progress, Not Perfection – Becoming is about growing, not arriving in one day.

5. Use Rejection as Redirection – When one door shuts, it pushes you to discover another path.

6. Be Patient With Yourself – Transformation doesn’t happen overnight; trust your pace.

7. Keep Your Vision Alive – Even when opportunities hide, your dream must keep burning.

“Becoming is not about what opens for you, but who you become while you wait for the next door.”

“A closed door is not the end; it is often the push toward the right path.”

“Don’t confuse a silent season with an empty future.”

“Every pause in your journey is still part of your becoming.”

“One closed opportunity does not define your destiny.”

“You are not stuck; you are being shaped.”

“Greatness is built in the unseen seasons before the spotlight.”

“Becoming requires patience; diamonds don’t form overnight.”

“When no opportunity shows up, keep showing up.”

“Your process is proof that you’re not where you used to be.”

Get up, arise and pursue your purpose, get the wheel rolling. Your dreams, goals and visions are waiting for you to get the guts to pursue and get to your place of conquest. If it has to mean a thing, it's you to get tired of your current condition and level. Badirisha Hali! Inuka uangaze. Lazima Unoki hakuna mtu atakunokia.
Life ni Kujiamini, Kujipenda, Kuamka, Kujituma, Kujitambua, Kujichocha kiasi na Kutrust God.
This life requires boldness and determination to go higher and be better. Take responsibility of your life. No one will do it for you, get up to the steering wheel and aim for the finishing line. Don't be distracted by failure and people, some of them are like billboards and the Safari rally cheering squad. They never go anywhere.
Climb, Pursue and keep going. Arise and Shine.

Today I want to encourage you with a mystery that changes results. You know, from my experience, I have come to realize that in this Kingdom we don't just receive with our hands, we first receive with our minds and heart. It is according to our level of expectations. Your life will always be a reflection of your mindset and belief system. This is the reason in alot of cases Jesus said, " Let it be according to your faith."
Your mind doesn't need any formal clearance, stamp, gate pass, visa or passport to go anywhere. You can desire something, wish to get to somewhere or want to get from here to there in your life and your mind will lead you to attain it. When God told Abraham, '...as far as you can see I give you...', the scope of possession and the territory he could get and occupy depended on him(Abraham not God). As far as you can see. Seeing with your inner eyes, your mind.
Back in our village Murunyu in Nakuru County, there was this lady who was always very dirty and shabby that even when we were in Kamurunyu primary school teachers would say wewe ni mchafu k**a lady X(name withheld). Despite of her appearance and up bringing (the parents cooked Busaa and Chan'gaa) she had high esteem and alot of times she would try to walk like a model. Honestly she looked like a scare craw or Kigogoo when cat walking. Her mindset was prepared to be a model. As we talk today she is married to a white man, lives abroad and is a model. Her modelling gave her an opportunity to tour the world and later met this foreign spouse and today they are doing a lot of humanity work in Africa. What happened? Setting her mindset right. What people said, saw, perceived, her Busaa family background and Shags didn't change her desire to be a model.
You see, you can never rise above the level of your mindset.
Challenge your limiting beliefs!
There's power in a transformed mind.
The bible in Romans 12:2 tells us not to conform into the cultures, patterns, systems and how we think things happen but to be Transformed (converted, renewed, remade, changed, reshaped or undergo metamorphosis) by the changing of our minds and setting it right.
In 2kings 7:3-10 the 4 reapers made up their mind to get into the city if it's dying they die.
In Mark5:25-34 the woman with the issue of blood purposed to touch the hem of Jesus garment.
In Numbers 13:1-33 Joshua and Caleb courageously purposed to go posses the land.
In Athletics we learn from Faith Kibyegon, Michael Olunga, Eliud Kipchoge and Ferdinand Omanyala who go against all odds believing they'll win and for sure they do wonders. It's all about our mindset.
I usually share my story of how after periodically becoming last in class then dropped out of school while in form two in 1999, was out of school for five years and when I made up my mind to go back to school in 2004, I didn't look at the stubborn limitations of my performance or where to get the school fees. I decided that I would join Anestar School in Nakuru, went bought uniforms even without confirming admission and when I reported I wasn't interviewed(not common to join a new school without interview moreso like my case) and with only the Ksh 2000 school fees that I reported with I was admitted to join form two and three years later in 2006 I completed my Secondary School education with an A(-) grade with no school fees arrears. I just purposed to go back to school, period! All other matters didn't hold me back. It's all by setting our mindset right.
Remember, I said your mind doesn't need a gate pass, visa or passport. Just set it towards a certain direction and it'll take you there breaking all the barriers.

WAY FORWARD
1. Have a big vision and pursue it. Look at Sakaja how he pursued his dream of becoming the Nairobi governor and Ruto presidency. All odds were against them but they kept on fighting because of their vision. They didn't allow adversities, challenges, setbacks and stubborn limitations pull them down. They are still fighting through regardless of the challenges.
2. Surround yourself with great achievers. If you spend most of your time with a gym instructor you'll also find yourself gaining some few body fitness tips. We learn naturally from the experts around us through Apprenticeship. Choose your companions wisely.
3. Be ready to pay the price. Maisha ni Kujipenda, Kujiamini, Kuamka, kujituma, Kujichocha kiasi, Kutrust God na kulipa gharama.
4. Recognize and appreciate the progress. Those small steps matters and you must be keen to notice and celebrate them. It is the journey of becoming.
5. Be God-dependent. In the beginning, God. Along the way, God. Let Him be The Lord of all that happens. Honor, Obey, Fear and Trust Him all through because He is the Alpha and Omega, the begining and the end and sees the end from the beginning..

Ever watched a football striker like Ronaldo, Messi, Olunga etc when taking up a penalty? They step back, strategize, come very fast and kick the ball. I call it Nduki or Mkiki. Maisha ni kujituma nduki nduki. Life ni kujituma Mkiki Mkiki.
Be aggressive.
Have the tenacity of a bull dog.
In boxing when trying to win your opponent you aim to give him that one knock that will blow him out. We call it a Technical Knock Out(TKO). Give your limitations a Technical Knock Out. Lazima unoki kiasi, usiponoki hakuna mtu atakunokia. You must reach a place to say ENOUGH is ENOUGH. Chukua Hatua, Badirisha Hali! Take responsibility of your life.
God told Jeremiah in chapter 1:10 See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out and to pull down, to destroy and throw down, to build and to plant.
Also in Genesis after God created man He commanded him to go rule, multiply, be fruitful, subdue and have dominion.
In Timothy the bible says that we have not been given the spirit of fear but POWER.
In Ephesians 3:20 To Him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above and beyond what we can ever imagine or ask for, according to the POWER that is WITHIN US.
We have power in US that we need to discharge and unleash. We can do wonders.
The bible in Daniel says that ...but the people who KNOWS their God shall be MIGHTY and DO WONDERS.
My friend, know your worth! Know your value! Know what you are before God! He called Jacob ...you worm I'll make you a threshing stone to crush mountains. He called Gideon mighty man of valor (mighty warrior).
There is great potential in you through Christ Jesus. Set your mindset right!
You see how those big superhighways are done? They start with a map and plan then starts doing demolitions and excavation. Can you have the bigger picture of your life, where you desires to be. Get a map, plan, strategy and implement. See the bigger picture of your life. Impacting lives and living your purpose. Now start the demolitions and excavations working on that project(you, your future, your destiny).
Have a great desire, imagine attaining it, Perceive yourself being there, be Thirsty and Hungry to achieve and succeed, Aspire to Inspire and take ACTION.
Whatever you desire you possess. Wherever there is a desire there's provision.
In all the things that comes your way, you are more than a conqueror, not that you are going to be but you are more than already so act like it and use the power given in you, you have the victory, confess His word not to get victory but because you already have the victory, stop being conscious of your weakness because you are a victor. The bible doesn't say that by His stripes we are going to be healed but we are healed. Romans8:37. You are more than a conqueror today in JESUS Holy name!
Life is a battle!
Stand up and fight for your life, your destiny, your future.
Choices makes or breaks us and you have to make choices that will give you conducive consequences.
Right knowledge + Right Action = Desirable Outcome.
Problem + Response (+/-) = Success/Failure
Positive Change + Time = Progress
Purpose to come out of the status quo, change your life, change your destiny.
This is a private affair!
Draw a line on the ground and declare, 'ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!'
Philippians 4:13 You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you!
Isaiah 60:1,2 Arise and shine for your light has come!
Handle your next frontier with the weight that it deserves. Take charge of the next chapter, phase, level, model and version of your life. Time to change is NOW! The person to change is YOU? And the how is to change your MINDSET!
AS FAR AS YOU CAN SEE, and, ACCORDING TO YOUR FAITH.
If you would like to invite me to speak at your school, church youths event or any other forum, please Email [email protected] , WhatsApp +254724036078 or login to www.ambstevembugua.co.ke
Hey, declare with me, 'MY LIFE, WILL NEVER, EVER, BE THE SAME AGAIN IN JESUS NAME. I can , I will, I must rise and Pursue my dreams and purpose. I am unstoppable. I am on the move. Nitaamka, Nitajituma kubadirisha hali. And so shall it be!
