I don’t know what you may be going through, dealing with, or facing today, making you wonder whether God still cares much about you, maybe asking, "why me and why now?"
You are in anguish, disappointment, ask yourself whether you deserve that status.
The dreams and desires in your heart, the things you want to accomplish, the situations you want to see changed will happen. Don’t give up just because it has taken a long time, or just because you’ve tried and failed.
I encourage you today — get your fire back!
Don’t be complacent about pursuing what God has placed in your heart. It may be taking a long time, but God is a faithful God.
No matter how long it’s been, no matter how impossible it looks, if you’ll stay in faith, your time is coming. Every dream that’s in your heart, every promise that has taken root, God not only put it there, but He has every intention of bringing it to pass.
Many times I spent days at the Githurai 45 dam sometimes writing memos to God asking Him why He rejected me only to later realize I was work in progress in His hands and He was working and is still working behind the scenes on my case.
Declare today, “My time is coming…God is working behind the scenes on my behalf…I will fulfill my destiny…I will fulfill the plan God has for my life!” As you declare, expect, and wait for the appointed time, your faith will grow.
Your hope will grow. And you’ll step into the destiny God has in store for you!
Habakkuk 2:3, (KJV)
“For the vision is yet for an appointed time…though it tarry, wait for it, it will come to pass.”
Know that God is working behind the scenes. He is perfecting whatever concerns you. Don’t give up! Instead, start thanking Him for His faithfulness in your life. Thank Him for His promise that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek after Him!
Great Bible characters didn’t live a life of great exploits every day. They lived most of their lives the same way you do, taking care of the day-to-day things. Take the life of Noah, for instance. It must have been a great day for Noah when the rain finally started falling and his family raced onto the ark. And it was probably the high point of Noah’s life when God brought him and his family safely to dry ground after months on the ark. But compared to the 120 long years it took Noah to build the ark, these brief chapters in his life were almost nothing. Noah had to keep his faith strong through all of those ordinary days while building the ark so that when God was ready to do something great through him, Noah was ready too. What does God want to do through you? Being faithful today is another step toward discovering His best.
This season, ask God to make you sensitive to His working in everyday occurrences. Thank Him that He is working on your behalf even if you cannot see answers to some of your prayers yet.
Keep asking. Keep seeking. Keep knocking on the door, and it will be opened to you.
I don’t know what you may be going through, dealing with, or facing as you read this. But this is God’s way of letting you know He cares about you and is working things out on your behalf.
As long as you remain persistent and keep trusting Him, He will move heaven and earth to bless you, and meet every single need you have.
You might not see it right now, but God is working behind the scenes in your favor.
Even if He has to tell somebody to go shop in a store they don’t even want to go into just to meet you there, He’ll do it.
That’s the kind of God you and I serve.
So rest in Him and place all your confidence in the Lord, trusting that He is working it all out.
To remind you of this truth, I’m stirring a very familiar passage of scripture into your cup of inspiration found in Romans 8:28, which says, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
When you drink down the contents of your cup, may your faith be renewed in the sovereign will of God, who is an ever-present help in your time of need.
Despite any obstacle, setback, disappointment, or trouble you face, someone is setting you up for a breakthrough. That someone is the almighty God who loves you far more than you could ever imagine.
