I never met Dolly Parton. And yet, somehow, she felt familiar.

She was like that larger-than-life auntie who makes everyone laugh.
The woman who walks into a room and immediately makes it brighter. Glamorous and completely down-to-earth at the same time.

Maybe that’s why her passing feels personal, even from thousands of kilometres away.
