Ngare ndare is a lush indigenious forest at the foothill of Mount Kenya. The main interest in this forest is the canopy walkway which is a 40 ft high &450 meters Long aerial bridge of wire mesh and cables meandering through the tree canopy. After a hike of about 2-3hrs brings you to this walkway that ends at a wooden platform 30ft high where guest can relax and enjoy a view of the river from this elevated vantage point. Elephants and Buffaloes frequently come here to drink and wallow. One can also enjoy a drink and a meal at the lofty decks. A hike to Ngare Ndare falls is about 3.5kms from the canopy walkway where swimming and diving is permitted.
