White cattle egrets and rhinos have a symbiotic relationship.

The egrets eat ticks, flies, and other parasites living on the rhino’s skin.

As the rhino moves, it stirs up insects from the grass—making it easier for the birds to catch them.

Meanwhile the rhinos benefit since they now have fewer ticks and biting insects means less irritation and lower risk of infections.
