Park entry fees for Kenyan citizens/residents are Kshs 300 for adults and Kshs. 215 for children.

Central Island National Park located in the middle of Lake Turkana – the world’s largest permanent desert lake, is made up of three active volcanoes that belch sulphurous smoke and steam. The park is a two-day travel by road from Nairobi to Kalokol on the lake’s western shores, via Kitale and Lodwar. From Kalokol, access to the park is by boat.
