MAN IN LION COSTUME ATTACKED BY REAL PRIDE IN MAASAI MARA STUNT

A bizarre stunt in the Maasai Mara nearly turned fatal when a man dressed in a lion costume crawled into open grassland near a real pride. Unfooled by the disguise, the predators pounced within seconds.

Rangers and emergency teams rushed in to intervene, pulling the severely injured man from the scene before transporting him to the hospital in critical condition.

Wildlife officials condemned the act as reckless and suicidal, reminding the public that the wild savanna is a dangerous predator domain, not a playground.

Leopards have a pretty clever strategy to keep their hard-earned meals.

Since lions and hyenas love to steal their food, leopards drag their prey—sometimes as heavy as they are—high up into the trees where those bigger animals can't climb.

Hyenas will actually sit right underneath, just waiting for dropped bits to fall.

So unless the area is totally clear of scavengers, a leopard’s safest bet is always dining off the ground.
