It was a fantastic experience travelling with 4 American ladies. We started with 3 nights in Phnom Penh - Kompong Chhnang before moving on to Battambang where we spent 2 nights.

On my last day with the ladies, I escorted them to Siem Reap where they would continue exploring Cambodia while I returned to Phnom Penh.

Ambition of ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ญ Thailand
Casey Barnett, American Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia, investigated when he was in charge of the plan to announce the agreement on the functions. Stock Exchange 2 alleged that Cambodian soldiers shot across the border, they are becoming more and more used. This claim was also previously claimed by Thailand's invasion of Cambodia. Immediately, the actions of the Thai military were involved in Cambodia

The Thai Minister was well aware of the Japanese sentence at the killing factory in May. The US ambassador (Prime Minister) also joined the Minister of National Defense. The Japanese ambassador asked Japan to remain in Indochina and British Malaya.

The treaty, which Thailand sealed off from Cambodia and Laos during the 4th year, separated from the French by firing across the border into Aranyaprathet (Aranyaprathet) of power. The Thais prepared for a slow transition this month. Within a few weeks, the Thais had seized () the northern provinces of Cambodia and the western part of Laos.

In December 41, the Thais and Japanese agreed to a joint military force, with Japan specifically claiming the Thai government as a member of Cambodia, Laos, Malaya and Burma (Burma). The Thai government guaranteed the use of the supply and staging area for the Japanese-controlled Malaya, British and Burmese territories from 41 to 422.

In the period 4 to 43, Japan made special awards to Thailand by sending six from British Malaya and Burma to Thailand. Thailand facilitated and received Japanese aid to build the Burma Railway (Burma Railway) connecting the region to Yangon (Yangon). The Anti-Damage Department had one British prisoner and eighty-three British school teachers, four British and 11 US dollars, with the conditions of the work concealed.

Thailand's Allied Executive in World War II signed the Allies' Declaration of Independence, granting all known powers to Laos, Malaya and Burma. Initially, it sought to prevent the occupation of Thailand. The Khanate conducted a strict post-war investigation by the defense companies, demanding that they agree and the area be left uninhabited.

As a result, Thailand made little concessions to the wartime population. Now entering 2020 Thailand, Casey Barnett's guide, referring to the additional section on.

The decision to choose December 1, 2010 22, the Thai military opened an active occupation of Cambodian territory and is continuing to conduct heavy shelling activities deeper into Cambodian territory without selecting targets. As of December, the Thai military's occupation has killed 8 Cambodian youth and won the number 1 victory, and the level of complexity of more than 43 hundred.

In 1941, Thailand invaded Cambodia and later declared war on the United States and the United Kingdom.ยน

In 2025, Thai accusations that Cambodian soldiers fired across the border are again being used to justify an ongoing Thai invasion of Cambodia. Similar claims formed the basis of Thailandโ€™s 1941 invasion of Cambodia. Then, as now, Thailandโ€™s military action was intended to annex Cambodian territory.

Despite full knowledge of Japanโ€™s genocidal conduct in China, including the 1937 Nanjing Massacre in which approximately 200,000 civilians and prisoners of war were killed, Thailand entered into a treaty with Japan on June 12, 1940.ยฒ This agreement laid the groundwork for Japanโ€™s subsequent occupation of French Indochina and British Malaya. After ratifying the treaty, Thailand invaded Cambodia and Laos in January 1941, claiming that French colonial forces in Cambodia had fired across the border into the Thai town of Aranyaprathet. In reality, Thailand had been preparing for invasion for months.ยณ Within weeks, Thailand forcibly annexed northern Cambodian provinces and western Lao territories.โด

In December 1941, Thailand and Japan concluded a further agreement providing for mutual military support, with Japan explicitly backing Thailandโ€™s territorial claims covering annexed areas of Cambodia, Laos, Malaya, and Burma.โต This agreement secured Thailandโ€™s role as a logistics hub and staging ground for Japanโ€™s conquest of British Malaya and Burma between 1941 and 1942.โถ

In July 1943, Japan rewarded Thailand for its cooperation by transferring to it six provinces of British Malaya and Burma.โท During this period, Thailand facilitated and materially benefited from Japanโ€™s use of forced labor to construct the Burma Railway, linking Bangkok to Yangon.โธ Among the enslaved laborers were 30,131 British and 686 American prisoners of war. Of these, 6,904 British and 131 Americans died as a result of brutal working conditions.โน

Following the Allied victory in World War II, Thailand was compelled to relinquish all territories it had annexed in Cambodia, Laos, Malaya, and Burma. Britain initially sought punitive measures, including extended occupation of Thailand and potential control over the Thai Isthmus.ยนโฐ The United States, however, opposed harsh postwar treatment, arguing that severe demands would destabilize Thailand and the wider region.ยนยน As a result, Thailand faced limited accountability for its wartime territorial aggression.

Now, in 2025, with little apparent collective memory of the consequences of its earlier irredentist ambitions, Thailand is once again invading Cambodia.

By Bob Bergin It is a great story, and well known that in January 1942 Thailandโ€™s ambassador to the United States refused to deliver Thailandโ€™s declaration of war to the U.S. government. As a result, there was never a state of war between the two countries. But that is not exactly how things hap...

Laeang Spean is the oldest prehistoric site in Cambodia

Laeang Spean is the oldest prehistoric site in Cambodia, and so far, no site has shown evidence of settlement older than Laeang Spean.

The Laeang Spean prehistoric site was first excavated by Cecile Moreau and Roland Moreau in the 1960s. After that, the research was interrupted for more than 40 years, and in 2009, a new study was conducted through a collaboration between the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts and the National Museum of Natural History of France, led by Heng Sophady and Hubert Forettier.

Past excavations have uncovered many ancient artifacts, including stone tools, flints, pottery, body jewelry (beads and bracelets made of stone or necklaces made of animal tusks), animal bone fragments, and graves.
Analysis of the excavated material suggests that the site of the bridge was inhabited by two or three different periods. The Paleolithic period is about 71,000 years old, the Haw Bin Nyun culture is between 11,000 and 5,000 years old, and the last, the Neolithic period, is about 3,000 years old, when the bridge was used as a burial ground.
The current dating is done using three different methods: 14c, OSL, U-Thโ€‹ on different soil layers from the surface to a depth of 5 meters. However, so far, the bridge is the only prehistoric site in Cambodia that has been discovered with new tools of the Haw Bin Nyun culture of various types and in specific soil layers. Based on the chronology, quantity and characteristics of the fjmI tools, it helps to better understand the stone tool production techniques, culture, environment and general context of the Haw Bin Nyun culture, as well as its relationships with other hunter-gatherer societies in mainland Southeast Asia.
