The tuk-tuk hums through streets of dust and grace
A friendly face in a bustling place
The scent of lemongrass, the market's cheerful sound
In Siem Reap's heart, new wonders can be found.

Then the ancient stones rise through the misty, morning air
Gods and kings in a temple prayer
A kingdom carved in timeless grey
In the shadow of the Bayon, smiling all the day.

We walked where empires rested, by the tangled, twisting root
We heard the echo of a world, silent and astute
From Ta Prohm's embrace, to the lotus tower's climb
A journey out of present time.
