There is a remarkable phenomenon at Angkor. During the morning equinox sunrise at Angkor Wat, visitors witness the sun rising in perfect alignment with the temple’s central tower.

Later in the day, a similarly special moment can be experienced at Bakong Temple at sunset. Although the locations and temples are different, the visual impact and atmosphere are equally spectacular.

This unique experience allows travelers to witness a full celestial journey — from the inspiring sunrise at Angkor Wat to the serene and mystical sunset at Bakong — making it one of the most memorable phenomena in the Angkor region.

Dancing Shiva statue has been completed in restoration, after the amazing 6 years assembling !

Thank you to the expertises and people who have put all their efforts and commitments to this wonderful restoration 🙏 have brought the 10,000 pieces of 1,000 years old Shiva Statue dances again 🙏❤️🎈
