The Macro World of the Knuckles Forest Reserve is a hidden universe filled with tiny creatures, colorful fungi, mosses, lichens, orchids, spiders, frogs, butterflies, and countless insects that most hikers never notice. The cool, moist cloud forests and diverse habitats of the Knuckles range create ideal conditions for macro photography and the study of small organisms.

🐸 Tiny endemic frogs, including the Knuckles Shrub Frog, which is found only in Sri Lanka's Knuckles Mountains.
