Hello my friends,

Hope you and your family are healthy and enjoying life and travels. I’m organizing trips to Tsaatan people again this year. Last months I made already a couple of wintertrips. It was cold but so beautiful in Winter. If you want to visit the Tsaatan this year, please ask me for my brochure. As always I try to keep prices low, but regarding the ricing fuel prices I have to ask a bit more money for my trips. Don’t hesitate and ask me of your preferred travel dates are still available. Hope to see you and have a adventurous year.

Hello my friends,

It’s a long time since my last update on Facebook. I hope you are all ok and looking forward to new travels. As I wrote in 2023, I didn’t guide last year because of my pregnancy. In June I gave birth to a healthy boy. Of course I have organized tours during the year; replacement guide, transport, horse guide. This year I will guide again during the summer months. I’ve updated my brochure; because everything has become more expensive, I had to rice the prices but I tried to keep them low and competitive. Ask me if you are interested and I will send brochure to you. Have a nice year and many adventures. Hope to see you again.

Hello dear friends,

I hope you are fine and had a good year. Tourist season was ok for me. I finished my last trip mid October. And this will be also my last trip till 2025 because I am pregnant. June 2024 I have to give birth to my 4th child. But I can still organize a trip for you: guide, horse guide, transport to horse guide. And of course I can organize a place to sleep when you are in Murun. Transport to Murun can be by bus or plane. From this year MIAT Regional offers domestic flights from UB to Murun. Check MIAT website and you can book by yourself. During Summer season flights are every day. Hunnu Air/Mongolian offers also flights to Murun but there is no website where you can book. You have to contact them by email.
Wish you all the best for 2024, good health and prosperity. Have a wonderful year.

Hello dear friends,

Hope everyone is ok and in good health. Tourist season will start this month. I have my first trip to the Tsaatan people in April. More trips are booked already so I’m happy I can guide again. If you interested in a tour, please ask me for my brochure. I advise you not to wait too long to book a trip with me. My calendar is getting full already, fortunately. But still have some space so you can contact me. Check if you can travel visa free to my country. At the moment summer schedule of flights to Murun aren’t available yet. Traveling by bus is available every day, just ask me how to get to the busses and how to book. Love to see you all. Zaya

Hello dear friends,
Unfortunately it wasn’t a busy year for me because of Covid and also because of the war in Ukraine. People hesitated to travel. Now, end of 2022, I’m hopeful that people will travel in 2023 and I can guide you to the Tsaatan people. My government will promote tourism in my country in 2023 and 2024. Traveling to my country could be more easy. You can apply for an e-visa so there is no need to go to the Mongolian embassy in your country. The list of visa-free countries is increasing.
There are more flying options to Ulaanbator: MIAT, Turkish Airlines, Korean Airlines and soon there will be flights from Beijing again. Please check possible travel restrictions before you book flights.
I raised my prices only a little, due to higher prices of food and fuel. If you have booked, price is fixed.
I wish you a healthy and prosperous 2023 and I hope to see you on one of my tours😊

It was wonderful feeling to do that after long break.

Hello dear friends,

Beginning this year I was very hopeful I could resume my work as a guide. But, despite the manageable Covid situation in the world and especially in my country, it’s still difficult to travel to Mongolia. All flights over Moscow are ceased. There are limited flights from Western Europe and the ticket price is very very high. What I know is you can fly with MIAT (Mongolian Airlines) direct from Frankfurt or Turkish Airlines with stopover in Istanbul. From South Korea there are more flight available to UBN. In 2019 you had daily domestic flights to Murun; now there are limited flights. Please contact Hunnu Air for more information; a one way ticket cost approximately $90. Taking the bus from UB is of course another option.

For me, all this means again less guests this year. I’ve only a few trips planned this season. If you want a trip to Tsaatan people, contact me and I will send you my brochure. I had to increase the prices of my trips this year because all prices in Mongolia have increased. For my trip I need a driver, have to pay for fuel and food, I need horses and a horse guide and I have to pay the Tsaatan people too. And of course there is modest payment for me as your guide.
But realize, I will offer you the trip of your lifetime, an unique experience you never forget.
Hope to see you again soon.

Hello dear friends,

First I want to wish you Happy 2022. I hope you will have an exciting year, good health and prosperity. Last July I wrote about resuming my job as a guide in 2022. Despite some airlines start flying this year to our new airport, UBN, it’s unsure how you can enter my country. You should be fully vaccinated at least, show a negative PCR test on arrival and at the moment there is a mandatory quarantine for 3 days even if you are vaccinated. Of course these measures can change every day. Contact the Mongolian embassy in your country to get the latest news about these Corona related measures.
You should know 70% of the Mongolian population is vaccinated twice and 30% is vaccinated already 3 times. I think it was a huge effort of our government to achieve this and more vaccines are coming.
This year I will work in June, July and August. If you want to travel with me, please contact me and I will send you my brochure with all the information you need.
Hope to see you again.

Hello dear friends,

Last June I hoped my country would be opened for tourists again in July. But, despite 60% of our population is fully vaccinated, we have still to much Corona infections. I’m afraid we will not have a tourist season this year; like me, many of my colleagues in tourist business don’t have work for 2nd year in a row.
But if you want to travel to my country this year, check Mongolian websites. Maybe the situation will change. Even if my country reopens this year, traveling back to your country could be complicated too; some countries ask for PCR test on entry and maybe you have to go in quarantine.
I hope I can work as a guide again next year and can show you my beautiful countryside.

Dear friends,

I have some updates regarding my trips this year and traveling to and from Mongolia. Good news is our (new) international airport will open July 4th. As I wrote in March, you can enter my country if you are fully vaccinated or show a negative PCR test within 72 hours of arrival. You don’t need to go in quarantine upon arrival anymore. Less good news is that, as I write this mid June, despite our population has vaccinated for almost 98% at least once, our numbers of infections are still increasing. I don’t know if it’s safe to travel, but I advise to check websites to get actual information about traveling in Mongolia. Check also the website of your own country, if you have to go in quarantine after returning from your trip. Maybe just a negative PCR test is enough on return.

Of course travel conditions can change every week; late Summer or early Autumn is also nice to travel in my country and maybe it’s much safer to travel then. In 2019 I made some nice trips till November.

But, I will not be your guide that time because I am pregnant 🤰🏻. Next year I will resume my work. If you want more information about my trips, send me an email or Whatsapp and I will send you my brochure.

Hope to see you again,

Love Zaya

Dear friends,

As I write this end of March, it seems Mongolia will open their boarders for tourists this Summer. If you can show a negative PCR test or a proof of vaccination, you can enter my country. At this moment you have to go into self quarantine but from July 1st this should change. Please check this before you book a flight or trip, I can’t guarantee it. Source of information could be the website of the Mongolian embassy in your country or the IATA website.
Next month, April, the building of my new house and guesthouse will start. I hope I can offer you a comfortable stay in Murun this Summer. My new brochure is ready, so if you are interested in traveling with me, mail or Whatsapp.

Миний үзэсгэлэнт Монгол оронд зочлоорой, visit my beautiful country of Mongolia

I hope to see you in Murun.
