Spain in October is for the woman who wants beauty, culture, movement, connection, and ease.

Not the kind of trip where every hour is scheduled.

Not the kind of trip where you are left figuring it all out alone.

This is Andalusia from a calm coastal base in Málaga, with slow mornings, sea breeze walks, café time, Mediterranean cuisine, Spanish culture, music, a private villa, and iconic days woven in thoughtfully.

We will experience Caminito del Rey, Granada and the Alhambra, Ronda, Setenil de las Bodegas, and a flamenco finale in Málaga.

But we will also have space.

Pool time.
Beach walks.
Optional movement.
Open afternoons.
Reserved dinner tables when you want to join.

That is the kind of travel I love creating.

Yesterday’s annual Josh Deojay Memorial kayak river run was another reminder that some of the best adventures are the simple ones.

The air was a little chilly, but honestly perfect once we got moving. The gray skies made the green trees feel even more vibrant and peaceful and the river, although lower than expected, still carried us along at a beautiful pace.

Between the laughter, good conversations, and the sound of birds echoing through the trees, it felt like the kind of day you wish you could slow down and hold onto a little longer.

A huge thank you to the lead Chiquita banana himself, Joshua Deojay, for always making sure we all have an incredible time.

And for the first time ever, my nieces joined us which made the day even more special. They never stop amazing me.

One of my favorite parts of this tradition is reconnecting with people I genuinely enjoy but don’t get to see nearly enough throughout the year.

I hope everyone found some kind of adventure yesterday, even if it was small. Those moments matter more than we realize.

Tomorrow morning at 9am we’ll be doing the annual Deojay Memorial kayak run down one of our local rivers and honestly, I love traditions like this.

Memorial Day weekend always reminds me that adventure doesn’t have to be far away or expensive to be meaningful.

Sometimes it’s simply good people, being outside, laughing together, and appreciating the freedom to enjoy days like these.

Most importantly, I hope we all take a moment to honor and remember the men and women in uniform who gave everything for this country.

Live safely.Live gratefully.And make time to actually enjoy your life.

And if you know me and you’re local, hit me up. The more adults on the river, the better the time.

I’ve been a little quiet on here lately while dealing with some frustrating allergies and swollen eyes, but I’m so thankful to be back and even more thankful to officially say our Scotland trek is now closed.

What excites me most isn’t just filling the trip. It’s getting to know every single person coming with me and thoughtfully shaping the experience around what they’ll genuinely enjoy alongside the places and experiences I personally love most.

That’s always been the heart behind The Khaleesi Trek for me.

Beautiful places.
Meaningful experiences.
Adventure with a beautiful landing.
And creating trips that feel effortless for the people joining me.

Scotland has given me so much more than a trip to plan.

I’m grateful for dog plants, slow mornings, meaningful conversations, and the wonderful people I’ve met along the way while building this experience. Every connection has reminded me that life has a way of aligning us with exactly who and what we need when we’re open to it.

I truly believe what is meant for us will be.

I also believe things happen for us, not to us. We always have a choice in how we respond, how we grow, and the kind of life we decide to create for ourselves.

And honestly, that’s one of the most beautiful parts of this journey. 🤍
