Planning for a trip to Mount Fuji?
Don't miss to add Oshino Hakkai to your itinerary!
Oshino Hakkai, which means "eight seas," is a group of eight ponds in the village of Oshino, located between Lake Kawaguchiko and Lake Yamanakako in the Fuji Five Lakes region. These ponds are filled with clear, pure water from Mount Fuji's melted snow, which takes decades to filter through volcanic rock. This natural process makes the water incredibly clean and beautiful.
