These incredible Sociable Weaver nests are built and expanded over generations, creating massive communal homes with individual chambers for hundreds of birds.

Some can remain in use for up to 100 years and grow to an astonishing 1,000 kg! The thick structure also provides insulation from Namibia’s extreme temperatures and can offer shelter to other bird species. 🌿
