Nepal Muktinath Tour Package by Drive 6 Days

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu, Welcome to Nepal.

Your Arrival Time (?) Our office representative will meet and greet you at Kathmandu Airport and transfer you to your hotel.

Note: If you have an early flight to Kathmandu and have some free time this day, you can add some sightseeing as per your interest.

Day 2 Drive to Pokhara, Visit Manakamana Temple.

At. 08:00 AM: Enjoy a fulfilling breakfast at the hotel and set out for Pokhara. The distance between Kathmandu and Pokhara is about 201 km, which takes about 6 to 7 hours by road.

Optional: On the way, you can visit Manakamana Temple by cable car ride, which offers a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape, adding extra charm to your journey. You can also have your lunch near the temple area.

Note: Manakamana cable car tickets are INR 670/person for a round trip, purchasable in advance or at the Kurintar base station.

At. 05:00 PM: Once you reach Pokhara, check in at the hotel and rest or explore around the city if you are interested.

Day 3 Drive to Muktinath, Visit Muktinath Temple.

At. 07:30 AM: Today early in the morning you will start your drive to Muktinath temple, which is about 180 km and takes 6-7 hours from Pokhara.

Once you reach Muktinath, complete Muktinath Temple Darshan, Puja and Holy bath and drive down to Jomsom to stay the night.

Important Note: After getting off the jeep, you have to walk up for 30 minutes to reach the temple from Jeep parking. You can hire a pony on your own, which costs INR 800 for a two way ride.

Day 4 Drive to Pokhara, Pokhara Sightseeing.

At. 05:30 AM: Wake up early and view the sunrise from your hotel rooftop.

At. 07:00 AM: Have breakfast at your hotel and start driving towards Pokhara, which is about 160 KM and takes 5 hours from Jomsom.

At. 11:30 AM: After you reach Pokhara, check in at your hotel, refresh yourself, and get ready for your sightseeing tour.

At. 12:30 PM: Your will visit for a half day of sightseeing which includes Tal Barahi (A temple situated on a small island in the Phewa Lake), Davi’s fall (Famous waterfall), Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave and Bindhyabasini Temple.

At. 05:30 PM: After your sightseeing, you will be es**rted back to your hotel.

Day 5 Drive to Kathmandu, Leisure Time.

At. 08:00 AM: After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu. On the way to Kathmandu, you will stop at Chandragiri hill by cable car. You will reach the top of the hill by a 9 minute cable car ride.

You will feel the religious significance amidst the serene atmosphere, as the hill features a Hindu temple, the Bhaleshwor temple, at the top.

Note: The two way cable car ride to Chandragiri Hills is NPR 1280/INR 840. You can purchase it from the base station of the Chandragiri Hills once you reach there.

At. 06:00 PM: Once you finish your sightseeing, you will be dropped off at the hotel. You can either rest at the hotel or use your evening time on your own.

Day 6 Kathmandu Sightseeing.

At. 10:00 AM: After your breakfast visit for a full-day sightseeing of Pashupatinath Temple, Jalnarayan, Swayambhunath Stupa and Patan Durbar Square and Baglamukhi. All these attractions are UNESCO listed world heritage sites.

At. 05:00 PM: Once you finish your sightseeing, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Optional Activity: Everest Mountain Flight at 06:00 AM, take-off from Kathmandu Airport (This is about an hour long flight to explore an eye-pleasing view of the Mt. Everest along with other Mountains)

Day 7 Transfer to Airport.

At. 08:00 AM: As you enjoy your last breakfast at the hotel, the time to go back is already here. You can have some time of your own or add some additional activities until your flight time.

Enjoy the serene view of the mountain ranges, as well as the most breathtaking sunrise over Pokhara City. Take some shots of the gorgeous Himalayas and sunrise, then return to your hotel for breakfast.

At. 10:00 AM: After having your breakfast at the hotel, you will get a certain time for optional activities in Pokhara. If you are not interested in any activities then you will visit Davis fall, Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave, Bindhyabasini Temple, Barahi Temple, and Phewa Lake. Besides that, you can enjoy a boat ride at Phewa Lake.

Day 05: Drive to Chitwan.
At. 09:00 AM: After your breakfast, you will drive from Pokhara to Chitwan, famous for its lush forests, rich wildlife, and cultural richness. It will take about 6-7 hours to reach there, covering approximately 171 km. Upon arriving, check in at the hotel. Later, enjoy the sunset view from the Rapti River beach. You will also have the opportunity to experience the vibrant culture of the Tharu community, indigenous to the Terai region of Nepal, as there will be a Tharu Cultural Programme set up for you in the hotel.

Day 06: Chitwan to Chitwan jungle safari and bird watching
At. 07:00 AM: Today is an exciting day, as you will immerse yourself in different activities amidst the encounter of various wildlife. After having a delicious breakfast, your day starts with a thrilling half day safari. You will be able to explore the diverse ecosystem of Chitwan National Park on a thrilling Jeep safari lasting 3–4 hours. You might also encounter wildlife during this safari. After the safari, return to the hotel for a hearty lunch waiting for you.

At. 03:30 PM: Your exploration continues with activities such as a Canoe Ride on a traditional wooden canoe. You can experience two kinds of crocodiles and various birds during the 45-minute ride on the Rapti River. Next, continue on a Jungle Walk with a knowledgeable naturalist who will provide you with more in-depth explanations of the various flora and fauna you see. Finally, make your last stop at the Elephant Breeding Centre, where you will have a chance to observe the habits and way of life of these majestic creatures. After a tiring day of enjoyment and unique experiences, return, refresh, and rest in the comfort of your resort.

At. 01:30 PM: Your tour begins with a visit to Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, Bindhyabasini Temple, Taal Barahi Temple located in the middle of the Phewa Lake.

At. 05:30 PM: After your sightseeing, you will be es**rted back to your hotel.

Day 05 : Drive to Kathmandu, Leisure Time.

At. 08:00 AM: After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu. On the way to Kathmandu, you will stop at Chandragiri hill by cable car. You will reach the top of the hill by a 9 minute cable car ride.

You will feel the religious significance amidst the serene atmosphere, as the hill features a Hindu temple, the Bhaleshwor temple, at the top.

Note: The two way cable car ride to Chandragiri Hills is NPR 1280/INR 840. You can purchase it from the base station of the Chandragiri Hills once you reach there.

At. 06:00 PM: Once you finish your sightseeing, you will be dropped off at the hotel. You can either rest at the hotel or use your evening time on your own.

Day 06 : Full Day Kathmandu Sightseeing.

At. 09:00 AM: After your breakfast, visit for a full day of sightseeing at some of the UNESCO listed world heritage sites in Kathmandu.

You will start with Pashupatinath Temple, Guheshwori Shakti Peetha , Jaal Narayan (Budhanilkantha), Swayambhunath Stupa and Patan Durbar Square.

At. 05:00 PM: Once you finish your sightseeing, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Optional Activity: Everest Mountain Flight at 06:30 AM from Kathmandu airport to Kathmandu airport, a 50-minute flight that takes you for an aerial view of Mt. Everest and several other mountains. (INR 9,900 Per Person, window seat for all)

Day 07 : Transfer to Airport.

At. 08:00 AM: As you enjoy your last breakfast at the hotel, the time to go back is already here. You can have some time of your own or add some additional activities until your flight time.

Our company representative will es**rt you to the Kathmandu airport 3 hours before your flight. Have a safe journey back! It will be our pleasure to be part of your journey if you want to extend your stay in Nepal.
