Chulu East is a snow-covered Himalayan peak that offers an excellent environment for practicing snow, ice, and mixed climbing techniques. The mountain is commonly climbed via the North-East Ridge, which provides a classic alpine route with glacier travel, moderate snow slopes, and sections suitable for ice and mixed climbing practice. This route makes Chulu East a popular training and expedition peak for climbers preparing for higher Himalayan objectives. ⛰️
