The online medium 'Bus Seva', which has now built the largest network in Nepal, has provided the facility of online ticket booking to more than 60 districts.
According to PR Khanal, the Chief Executive Officer of Bus Service, Bus Service has signed cooperation agreements with more than 300 bus business companies across the country. Accordingly, ticket booking can be done online for the scheduled route.
For this, Busseva has entered into agreements with payment service providers including e-seva, Khalti, Phone-Pay, IME-Pay, Mi-Me, Connect IPS. In other words, passengers can pay for the bus ticket through that means.
Daily two-way 35 thousand seats will be available online
CEO Khanal informed that the bus service is going to make arrangements so that 35,000 two-way seats can be booked online only during Dashain.
According to Khanal, for advance booking, online booking can be done only from the date the advance booking is opened by the government. Khanal said that there is no possibility of seat difference as the passenger can choose the seat by looking at the ticket online.
Tourist bus tickets from mobile app
On the other hand, passengers who want to travel in a more comfortable bus than the normal bus can travel in a tourist bus. Tourist bus tickets can now be purchased from the mobile app. Tourist Bus Association of Nepal has created a mobile app.
Krishna Acharya, president of the association informed that by downloading the app called 'Tourist Bus Nepal', passengers can now easily book tickets for tourist bus destinations.
According to Acharya, now tourist buses run from Kathmandu to Pokhara, Lumbini, Janakpur and Chitwan. There are three different types of buses running to these destinations according to the facilities. Acharya informed that passengers can buy tickets for those buses through the mobile app.
Currently, 45 companies are registered for operating tourist buses across the country. Among them, 32 companies have 50 one-way buses in operation. Acharya informed that passengers who want to travel by tourist bus can book tickets from Tuesday even for Dashain.
"There is no need to wait for the government's announcement for advance booking on tourist buses," President Acharya said, "Tickets can be booked on our bus from Tuesday."

He said that in the meeting held in the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport last week, the businessmen demanded that at least the Muglin-Pokhara and Narayangadh-Butwal road sections can be constructed quickly so that they can operate without any obstacles.
