09/09/2026
We just spent two days in a room with 300 of the best professional hosts in Australia and New Zealand.
Not influencers. Operators.
Airbnb’s Pro-Host Summit in Sydney 2026.
Luxury Stays Queenstown was nominated as one of the highest-rated hosts in both countries.
We didn’t take the award home :(
Still one of the proudest days we’ve had in this business.
Queenstown is not an easy market. Peak weeks. Same-day turns. Guests who have just flown 24 hours and expect the house to feel like a hotel. Ratings in that environment are not a vanity metric. They are the by-product of the clean, the linen, the comms, and a team that does not drop the ball.
Thank you to Airbnb for building a room like that and treating professional hosts as partners, not a channel.
And thank you to every owner who trusts us with their home, and every person on the tools who makes a 5-star stay look simple.
If you host at scale in AU or NZ: what is the one standard you refuse to compromise on?
