Peruvian Cuisine Shines at Diplomatic Gala in Monaco
The Yacht Club of Monaco hosted an evening dedicated to Peru on April 29th, during the annual charity dinner organized by the Ibero-American Monegasque Association (AMI). The gala brought together prominent figures from European diplomacy, high society, and the institutional sector, and featured Peruvian cuisine.
Chef Lourdes Pluvinage, accompanied by her team, offered a menu that exalted traditional Peruvian flavors with local products, while mixologist Christophe Pluvinage dazzled the audience with pisco sours that captured the attention of even the most discerning guests. The setting, inspired by Inca iconography and Andean landscapes, was created by MariPili Gómez Restrepo.
The event was led by Sheramin Beauseigneur, president of the AMI, along with representatives from Spain, Venezuela, Brazil, Ecuador, and France, who organized an evening that united art, gastronomy, and solidarity. Guests included Vincent Floreani, chamberlain to Prince Albert; Rolando Ruiz Rosas, Peruvian ambassador to France and Monaco; and Rosario Pajuelo, director of Promperú in France, Switzerland, and Monaco.
One of the most significant moments was the reading of the message sent by the Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Desilú León, who congratulated the organizers for contributing to the promotion of Peru through a strategy that strengthens its cultural, human, and gastronomic image.
Visit Peru and be part of the gastronomic knowledge of one of the most important countries in the world.
