Our Adventure Kokoda trek led by Jesse White were up early for their Dawn Service at the Isurava Memorial.

Now settled into camp at Templeton’s Crossing, the group enjoyed a refreshing swim in the creek before dinner.

Still no rain and the track remains very dry. Everyone is doing well.

Kokoda Trail Update from Jesse White.

'Trekked up to Deniki and enjoyed the morning view back to Kokoda.

'Lunch at Isurava village, before arriving at Isurava Memorial and visiting the ground where Bruce Kingsbury’s heroic actions took place, posthumously earning him a VC.

'Early night before the dawn service tomorrow.'

Our 2026 Kokoda Youth Leadership Challenge group celebrating last night and receiving their certificates after successfully completing their 10-day trek across the Kokoda Trail.

Our Adventure Kokoda trek led by Jesse White arrived in Kokoda by charter flight this morning.

After a briefing on the Kokoda plateau and a delicious lunch prepared by Marcella from Kokoda – pizza, fresh fruit, banana bread, and scones – the group enjoyed a refreshing swim at camp and a game of footy with the local kids.

The trekkers also donated school supplies to the local school at Hoi.

Adventure Kokoda trek led by Jesse White left their accommodation this morning for their Tropicair Charter flight straight into Kokoda - a short 25-minute flight.

Congratulations to the 2026 Kokoda Youth Leadership Challenge group!

Led by Adventure Kokoda Trek Leaders Peta Bull and Ben Vahland, the group successfully completed their 10-day trek across the Kokoda Trail this morning.

Marcella from Kokoda prepared a delightful breakfast for them before they boarded their Tropicair charter flight to Port Moresby.

Well done everyone on an outstanding achievement!

2026 Kokoda Youth Leadership Trek – Day 10

The group attended a special Adventure Kokoda Dawn Service at the Isurava Memorial this morning.

Now at Hoi, their final night on the Trail.

Tonight, it’s time for a traditional Papua New Guinea Mumu — lamb, chicken, sweet potato, greens, banana and pumpkin, flavoured with spring onion and fresh coconut.

Templeton’s Crossing → Isurava Memorial

Another hot, dry day on the Trail — still no rain!

After a cold night, the group headed off early with doughnuts at Eora Creek for morning tea, providing a welcome boost.

A hot climb up to Alola for lunch, before arriving at Isurava Memorial at 3:30 pm. An early night ready for the Dawn Service in the morning.

Tired bodies, but everyone is still going strong.
