Celebrate the arrival of 2025 in style at Baguio City’s New Year Countdown! Join us on December 31, 2024, starting at 6:00 PM for the New Year’s Eve Party with DJ Noel at Rose Garden, Burnham Park.🎉

The New Year Countdown begins at 8:30 PM at the iconic Melvin Jones Field. Hosted by the vibrant LA Serafin with DJ Renz, the event features an incredible lineup of live performances to keep the energy high all night long. Kick off the evening with the soulful tunes of Free Soul Band (8:30 PM - 9:30 PM), groove to the rhythms of Brown Sugar Nation (9:30 PM - 10:30 PM), enjoy the dynamic beats of Cortado Band (10:30 PM - 11:30 PM), and countdown to the new year with the electrifying Sugarpaps (11:30 PM - 12:30 AM).

As the clock strikes midnight, witness the city light up with a spectacular fireworks display, marking the start of a new year filled with hope and possibilities.

ANNUAL CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING ON DEC. 1
Celebrate the Spirit of Christmas in Baguio City✨
The holidays are here, and there’s no better way to kick off the season than by joining the City Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and the SLU Lantern Parade—two beloved events that bring light, joy, and community to the heart of Baguio.

The festivities will begin with pre-show performances by the University of Baguio Voices and will be followed by the announcement of winners of the An Enchanting Christmas Dance Contest and Best Decorated Session Road Establishment. This will be followed by Christmas songs and carols performed by the talented Saint Louis University (SLU) Band, filling the air with melodies that warm the soul. Then, the magic unfolds as the city’s towering Christmas tree comes to life, its lights illuminating the night and spreading the spirit of hope and unity. The countdown to the lighting will be ushered by the University of the Cordilleras Dance Company.

Right after the tree lighting, look to the skies for a breathtaking fireworks display by SM City Baguio, painting the cool evening with dazzling colors. And as the night continues, the enchanting SLU Lantern Parade will take center stage, featuring beautifully crafted lanterns that celebrate the artistry and traditions of the season.
