You are struggling to keep praying.

Romans 12 describes faith that continues through ordinary life.

Paul tells believers to be β€œfaithful in prayer,” even while they are waiting, enduring hardship, and holding on to hope.

Prayer is not only for moments when words come easily or answers arrive quickly.

Sometimes faithfulness means returning to God with the same concern again, trusting that He still listens.

Your prayer may feel repetitive, quiet, or weak, but it is not meaningless.

Still waiting, keep praying.
Still uncertain, keep trusting.
Still weary, stay near.

You do not need impressive words today. Bring God your honest heart once more.

Prayer:

Lord, You know the prayers I have repeated and the answers I am still waiting for.

Keep me faithful when hope feels weak and silence feels long.

Teach me to bring You an honest heart and trust that You are listening, even when I cannot yet see what You are doing.

Amen.

Blessed morning everyone 🏑

May our hearts' desire be to obey God every day, not merely because someone commands us to do so. Let us seek to cultivate a genuine, intimate relationship with the Lord our God, rather than relying solely on religious rules and traditions. As Jeremiah 31:33 reminds us, "I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts." Similarly, Ezekiel 36:26-27 says, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove the heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. I will put my Spirit within you and cause you to walk in my statutes." Let these scriptures inspire us to pursue a heartfelt obedience rooted in a personal connection with God.

New International Version

Psalm 16

A miktam[a] of David.

1 Keep me safe, my God,
for in you I take refuge.

2 I say to the Lord, β€œYou are my Lord;
apart from you I have no good thing.”
3 I say of the holy people who are in the land,
β€œThey are the noble ones in whom is all my delight.”
4 Those who run after other gods will suffer more and more.
I will not pour out libations of blood to such gods
or take up their names on my lips.

5 Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup;
you make my lot secure.
6 The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places;
surely I have a delightful inheritance.
7 I will praise the Lord, who counsels me;
even at night my heart instructs me.
8 I keep my eyes always on the Lord.
With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

9 Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices;
my body also will rest secure,
10 because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead,
nor will you let your faithful[b] one see decay.
11 You make known to me the path of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

You want to feel safe inside today.

Psalm 16 begins with a simple prayer: β€œKeep me safe, my God.”
David is not only asking for protection from what might happen around him.
He is placing his whole life under God’s care, then reminding his heart that the Lord is his portion, his security, and his good.
That is a steady way to begin a morning. Before the worries grow loud, before the day asks more from you, before fear decides the mood of your heart, you can entrust yourself to God.

Your home, in His care.
Your work, in His care.
Your heart, in His care.

He is a safe place for your whole life.

Prayer:
Lord, I place my life, my family, and this day under Your care.
Keep me safe not only from what is around me, but also from the fear that rises within me.
Teach my heart to rest in You as my portion, my security, and my good.
Amen.
