An Invitation to PAY IT FORWARD ... Voluntary.

Life is full of surprises, there are times where we smile, laugh felt happy, other time we feel sad, lonely, down, almost knocked down by LIFE. Surprised.

I've had a lot of downs and up's in my life, most of the time I don't know why, what happened.. and How was I able to get back and get by, thankful to Mary & the Big Guy above sending me Help from unexpected people and & time. Angels, I call them.

Indeed, I say. This is an invitation, voluntary. a young girl, a friend of the family is right now fighting cancer. We have given a little already, but it seems the ammunition battling in the Hospital is kinda hard these days for the Precious Life given.

I in behalf of the family of my friend is knocking at your kind heart. again, this is an Invitation, Voluntary. any donation, amount | help, assistance means a life to Trixia.

also did mention to her, to hold on tight, as Angels are coming soon to help her.

Please, more than anything as well WE NEED ALL YOUR PRAYERS FOR THE RECOVERY AND SUCCESS OF HER OPERATIONS.

GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

Thank you very much.

THERE IS NO REWARD FOR THE PASSENGER WHO GETS OFF THE AIRPLANE FIRST

A few weeks ago, I posted a video of a domestic flight where you could hear passengers removing their seatbelts right after the plane touched down. The plane was still in motion on the runway, spoilers deployed, and the fasten seatbelt sign was still on. However, passengers began removing their seatbelts. From take-off to landing, the flight attendants' instructions were clear: do not remove your seatbelts as long as the fasten seatbelt sign is on.

The sad part is that even foreigners noticed that only Filipino passengers unfasten their seatbelts right after the aircraft touches down. This observation is based on the comments I've been reading on my previous posts.

So, I don't get it. Why are we so stubborn when it comes to following rules? Do we lack integrity to the point where someone has to guard us just to ensure we follow safety rules? These rules are in place for our personal safety. Even if the aircraft has landed, it is still in motion. It can suddenly stop or veer off the runway. Anything can still happen, and seatbelts are there to keep you from getting injured when these things happen. You can loosen your seatbelts a bit, but you must keep them on for safety reasons.

If the plane suddenly stops and you get injured because you were not following the instructions to keep your seatbelts on, you have no right to sue the airline for damages.

Also, trust me, there is no reward for whoever gets off the plane first. The doors will be opened only once the flight crew and ground crew deem it safe to deplane. You will all deplane at the same time.

Riding a plane is not a right; it is a privilege. The airline has the right to offload you if you cannot follow safety instructions. Airlines take safety seriously, and comfort will never take precedence over safety.

Again, safety is paramount and non-negotiable. If you intentionally resist following safety instructions, please do yourself a favor and find other means of transportation. When you ride a plane, you are mandated to follow all safety instructions.

Magellan's Cross
Istorya @ Kodaks

shared from

history is like a story, depends on who is telling it.
a lot has been said at the story & history of the Magellan's Cross, being a travel guide i love the learning, knowledge about the past present of course the future of what ever it may be.

stories & legends about the cross had been circulating around for sometime, some if not the most are for the sake of peoples personal interest. Continuously i'm reading researches , books , writings from other people about every Destinations Culture & History, Beliefs , People i could come across to.

now for me to find out whats the real score, i have to ask myself questions id like to know the answers & hopefully find what im looking for.

the Cross was planted on the village square of Rajah Humabon. in commemoration of the Raja's Conversion & Baptism to Christianity along side his Wife, Sons & Daughters & an estimated 800 of his followers.

on April 14, 1521, a week after the Spaniards landed in Cebu, History was made when converted to Christianity.
the next time the Spaniards appeared in Cebu was in 1565 when they started the colonization of the Philippines led by Miguel Lopez de Legaspi.

Question???
44 years later. was there a cross in the square when they arrive again in Cebu ???

Answer!
NONE ! Nada! Simple common sense. 44 years had passed . countless battles, burning of houses, villages, natural disaster came and pass the land . How could any wooden material exposed to all of that withstand everything... well not to mention our friendly termites.

the Spaniards lost prestige after Magellans shameful defeat in Mactan Island at the hands of the chieftain named Lapu Lapu.
Rajah Humabon who earlier submitted to Spain , prepared to redeem himself & his followers lost honor & dignity. the cross became a hated symbol of a short term and failed foreign rule.
picture it yourself. the cross planted by Magellan & its crew after all had happened in the center of your village reminding you everyday of the misfortune that took place the very symbol you thought would bring you somewhere. the natives must have burnt ,chopped killed it so to speak just as what they did on the farewell banquet for the remaining soldiers of Magellan's Fleet. 27 Spaniards we're butchered while those who remained in the Galleon hurriedly raised the anchor & set sail. 'story from the university scholar Laurence Bergreen : at the edge of the world p297.

perhaps the most convincing argument that the cross was forever lost is the fact that after Legaspi set foot in Cebu . He made an almost complete report to his King about what they found including the venerable image of Sto Nino ( gift Given to the wife of Rajah Humabon) but never in his report did he mention anything abt the Cross.

the replica of the Magellan's Cross as a symbol of Philippine Colonial past is an undeniable fact . BUT the original tindalo wood piece encased inside is just a myth. my own opinion.
the Magellan's Cross Kiosk was constructed in 1941 by then National Historical Committee which is now the National Historical Commission of the Philippines. pictures shown below that no claim and never did they made anything about the original cross encased in today's cross nor a writing stating it.

painted in the early 70's by Serry Josol & Jess Roa.
