Dahil sa inaasahang tuloy-tuloy na pag-ulan at para sa kaligtasan ng lahat, napagpasyahan naming ipagpaliban ang ating nakatakdang hike ngayong weekend.

Alam naming marami ang excited at matagal nang naghanda para sa activity na ito, ngunit naniniwala kaming mas mahalagang unahin ang kaligtasan kaysa isugal ang anumang panganib na dulot ng masamang panahon.

Ang bundok ay mananatili, at magkakaroon pa tayo ng mas magandang pagkakataong akyatin ito kapag maayos na ang kondisyon ng panahon.

This is why Mt. Pulag is in everyone's list of mountains to climb. At the right time and at the right weather conditions, you will be treated with a view like this. This photo was snapped by a hiker just this week.

It's beautiful in photos but it's a whole different experience when you are on the mountain yourself. You can feel the cold wind on your skin. You can see the clouds ever shifting. And you can see in real time as the color and hues of the sky change. And of course, there's the sense of scale when you are standing on one of Pulag's peaks.

However.

Getting to the summit of Mt. Pulag doesn't mean the view will always be like this. In fact, it's not always like this. Luck plays a role. I personally know someone who summited the mountain numerous times but she never experienced seeing the mountain's iconic sea of clouds.
