Get ready to see Puerto Princesa come alive with color, creativity, and culture!
As part of this yearβs Tourism Month activities, the Tourism Month Parade and Opening Program will take place on September 2, 2026, at 3:00 PM, with the parade starting along Fernandez Street and ending at Baywalk, where the Opening Program will be held.
One of the highlights of the celebration is the πππ§ππ’π€ππ§ πππππ«ππ¬π¬ ππ¨π¦π©πππ’ππ’π¨π§, where participating tourism-related associations will showcase their creativity through costumes inspired by the Tandikan (Palawan Peacock-Pheasant).
Expect vibrant colors, creative designs, and meaningful interpretations that celebrate the beauty of the Tandikan while highlighting the identity and tourism of Puerto Princesa.

Participants are highly encouraged to use indigenous, recycled, eco-friendly, or locally sourced materials in creating their costumes and headdresses. Each delegation must have at least 15 members wearing their official Tandikan-inspired costume with headdress during the parade.
