๐จ REMINDERS FOR AIRLINE PASSENGERS โ๏ธ๐
The Philippine National Police Aviation Security Group (PNP-AVSEGROUP) and the Office for Transportation Security (OTS), in coordination with the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), remind all passengers traveling through Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) and other major airports nationwide to strictly comply with regulations on prohibited items in hand-carry baggage.
To avoid delays, inconvenience, or confiscation of items at airport security checkpoints, passengers are advised to review the following guidelines before traveling:
๐ถ FOR PASSENGERS TRAVELING WITH INFANTS
Baby formula and breast milk exceeding 100ml are allowed only if declared at the security screening checkpoint for proper inspection and verification.
โ ๏ธ LIQUIDS, AEROSOLS, AND GELS (LAGs)
Liquids, aerosols, gels, sprays, and similar toiletry items exceeding the allowable limit are prohibited in hand-carry baggage.
These include:
โข Shaving foam and other foams
โข Deodorants
โข Cosmetic oils
โข Hair gels and shower gels
โข Lotions and creams
โข Toothpaste and other pastes
โข Perfumes and body sprays
๐ IMPORTANT:
Any LAGs contained in bottles or containers larger than 100ml are NOT allowed in cabin baggage โ even if the container is only partially filled.
Passengers are encouraged to place these items in checked baggage if they exceed the permitted limit.
๐ POWER BANK GUIDELINES
Local airlines such as Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, and AirAsia Philippines follow CAAP regulations using watt-hours (Wh) โ not milliampere-hours (mAh) โ in determining allowable power bank capacity.

Allowed:
โข Up to two (2) power banks below 100Wh in hand-carry baggage without prior airline approval
โ ๏ธ Requires airline approval:
โข Power banks exceeding 100Wh
โ PROHIBITED ITEMS
The following items are strictly prohibited in hand-carry baggage and are only allowed in checked baggage with proper permits and documentation when applicable:
โข Fi****ms and firearm components
โข Toy guns and replica fi****ms
โข Flare guns and paintball guns
โข Disguised or improvised fi****ms
โข Stun guns and electronic bug zappers
โข Knives, blades, scissors, and other sharp objects

Passengers are strongly encouraged to arrive early at the airport and double-check their baggage contents before departure to ensure a smooth and hassle-free travel experience.
