On the 18th and 19th days of our Marian Pilgrimage here in Europe, we arrived in the beautiful city of Paris, France.

On Day 18, we travelled almost 6 hours from Lourdes to Paris via the TGV train. After checking in at our hotel, the pilgrims enjoyed a Paris by Night tour, witnessing the breathtaking beauty of the city illuminated at night, truly worthy of its title as the “City of Light.”

On the following day, we visited some of the most famous tourist and pilgrimage sites in Paris:

• Notre Dame Cathedral – one of the most iconic Gothic cathedrals in the world and a symbol of the Catholic faith in France, beautifully restored after the tragic fire in 2019.

• Louvre Museum – the world’s largest and most visited museum, home to thousands of priceless works of art including the famous Mona Lisa.

• Bateaux Mouches – a relaxing river cruise along the Seine River where we witnessed the beauty and history of Paris from a different perspective.

• Galeries Lafayette – the historic and elegant shopping center known for its magnificent glass dome and panoramic view of Paris.

• Saint Vincent de Paul Chapel – where the incorrupt heart of Saint Vincent de Paul is preserved, reminding pilgrims of his life dedicated to charity and service to the poor.

• Miraculous Medal Chapel – one of the most important Marian pilgrimage sites in Paris where the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to Saint Catherine Labouré in 1830 and entrusted the Miraculous Medal, a symbol of grace and protection. Here, we celebrated our last and final Pilgrim Thanksgiving Mass.

• Eiffel Tower at the Trocadéro – the most famous landmark of Paris and a symbol of France, offering one of the best panoramic views in the city.

• Arc de Triomphe – the historic monument built in honor of the soldiers who fought and died for France, standing proudly at the center of the famous Champs-Élysées.

Our time in Paris became not only a cultural and historical journey, but also a spiritual experience filled with prayer, gratitude, and unforgettable memories. As our Marian Pilgrimage slowly comes to an end, we thank God and Mama Mary for their guidance and protection throughout our journey. Ave Maria! 🙏🇫🇷

Candlelight Procession at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes (27 May 2026)

On the 16th to 18th day of our Marian Pilgrimage here in Europe, we traveled from Burgos to Lourdes to visit the world-famous Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes, one of the most beloved Marian pilgrimage sites in Europe and a place of deep prayer, healing, and devotion.

During our visit, we had the blessed opportunity for private prayer and reflection at the sanctuary. We first visited the family home of Saint Bernadette Soubirous during the time when their family was still living comfortably through their flour mill business, and later also visited the humble “Le Cachot,” the small and impoverished dwelling where the family stayed during difficult times.

In the evening, we joined thousands of pilgrims from around the world in the solemn and beautiful candlelight procession, a moving expression of faith and devotion to Our Blessed Mother.

The following day, we celebrated our Thanksgiving Mass at the Chapel of Saint Anne inside the main basilica of the sanctuary, offering our prayers, intentions, and gratitude for the blessings and graces received throughout our pilgrimage journey.

Our Lady of Lourdes Candle Light Procession

On our 15th day of our Marian Pilgrimage, we travelled from Fatima, Portugal to Burgos, Spain as we continued our journey towards Lourdes, France. Before checking in to our hotel, we first visited the magnificent Gothic Cathedral of Burgos, one of the most beautiful cathedrals in Spain and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Its stunning architecture, detailed facades, and solemn atmosphere reminded us once again of the beauty of our Catholic faith and the rich history of the Church in Europe. We offered our prayers and thanksgiving for the safe journey and for all the blessings we continue to receive throughout this pilgrimage.

Every step of this pilgrimage brings us closer not only to the holy places we visit, but most especially closer to God and Mama Mary. 🙏

During our Pilgrims’ Sunday Mass yesterday at the Church of Saint Anthony of Lisbon, we received the blessed opportunity to touch and hold, while praying, the First-Class Relic of Saint Anthony of Lisbon.

It was truly a grace-filled and unforgettable moment for all of us pilgrims, to be in the presence of one of the most beloved saints of the Catholic Church. Born in Lisbon, Portugal, Saint Anthony later became widely known as Saint Anthony of Padua because of his missionary life and ministry in Padua, Italy. He was renowned for his powerful preaching, deep wisdom, humility, and countless miracles, leading many souls closer to God.

As we celebrated the joy of Pentecost Sunday, we prayed through the intercession of Saint Anthony for stronger faith, guidance, healing, and peace for our families and loved ones. Truly, this sacred encounter became one of the spiritual highlights of our Marian Pilgrimage here in Europe.
