Ghizer valley is the westernmost part of the Gilgit-Baltistan region . Its capital is Gahkuch. Ghizer is crossroads between Gilgit and Chitral and also to Tajikistan via Kurumber pass through Ishkomen/Darkut Yasin (which are connected via Shandur Pass). Ghizer is a multi-ethnic district and three major languages are spoken; shina, khowar and Burushaski. There are also Wakhi Tajik speakers in Ishkoman.

This kid from Gilgit-Baltistan is cleaning the trash left behind by tourists.
Thank you for the trash. We have kept this place clean for so long and now people are coming here and making it worst. Spreading plastic wrappers to pempers. Please please please. Enjoy your travel, but don't spread the trash, don't pollute the only clean and naturally beautiful place in Pakistan. This is our home and I hope you don't like someone visiting you home and leaving all the trash behind and make it worst for you live at your home.
