Czech mountaineer Klara Kolouchová, 46, trag-ically di-ed while climbing Nanga Parbat when an oxygen cylinder reportedly explo-ded, causing her fatal fall between Camp I and II.
She was the first Czech woman to summit Everest, K2, and Kangchenjunga. Kolouchová was climbing with her husband and team after arriving in Pakistan in mid-June.
Resc-ue teams are working to recover her bo-dy from the dange-rous “Kil-ler Mountain,” which has claimed over 100 liv-es. The global climbing community mourns her as a trailblazer and inspiration.
