Here are a few quick tips to stay safe while enjoying Kraków:
Drink plenty of water: Keep a reusable bottle with you. Kraków’s tap water (krakowska kranówka) is safe, clean, and delicious to drink, and you'll find free drinking fountains around the city center.
Seek shade during peak hours: The sun is strongest between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Take breaks in the shade of Planty Park, or step inside air-conditioned museums, cafés, and churches.
Protect your skin: Wear lightweight, breathable clothing, apply high-SPF sunscreen, and don't forget your sunglasses and a hat.

Colorful stalls fill the historic square, offering beautifully handcrafted decorations, traditional Polish Easter foods, and unique souvenirs.
