Salsa Tours PR is an online platform that connects travelers with tourism service providers that tailor activities to your interests with locals who are ready to show you the best of what Puerto Rico has to offer. Sometimes the different roles come together smoothly; sometimes bringing it all together coherently, takes more effort. I always wonder, how do I manage to do it all? How do I
juggle the many commitments I have? I’ll admit, it’s not always easy, sometimes things get overlooked. I often go to bed later than I would like, but I get so much satisfaction from each of the hats I wear that it becomes all worth the high-flying juggling routine. I was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico. As a single mother, my child has been my priority, and being a mom meant so much to me. I understand that I must be a beacon, role model, and cheerleader for my child, as any parent aims to be, however, I still needed to see my dreams to fruition. My son, Reinier has inspired me to achieve endless possibilities. I am a professional dancer (Three Time Top Ten World Salsa Cabaret Finalist "2007 - 2016", Former Snoop Dogg 2016 Tour Dancer, Don Omar, Akon, and Natti Natasha's 2012 Latin Billboards Dancer) just to mention a few. Currently a Choreographer, Dance Teacher, Airbnb Host, Uber Driver, Tour Guide, and Fitness Enthusiast. I’m not the nine-to-five employee type! I have 20 years of experience in the dance industry, television, and the competitive world of professional service workers. My educational background and credentials have allowed me to work, share my passion for the arts with others, and be a part of other fields of interest (Social Worker, DNA Counselor, HIV Recreational Therapist, Support Coordinator, Community & Artist Teacher, On-Air Talent, Video Editor, TV Host, Substitute Teacher, Behavior Intervention Therapist, Payroll Coordinator, Solar Energy Consultant, Fitness Sales Representative). Education also plays an important role in my life. I graduated from La Salle University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, while completing an ATI (Artist Teacher Institute) Professional Development Certification at Rutgers University. In addition, I completed 12-semester credits at Phoenix University with a major in Business Administration and obtained 24 dance master's education credits at NYU. As you may have noticed I attempted previously to complete two master's degrees and I fell short of finishing the majors in Business Administration and Dance Education. Ten years later I decided to revisit the idea of completing a master's degree. So I set my sights on new goals and objectives. During the pandemic, I took advantage of the situation (instead of letting time go to waste) and decided to study Digital Marketing. I’m proud to say that I finally completed a Master's Degree in Science from "Universidad del Sagrado Corazón" in Puerto Rico. I finally accomplished this goal. The idea of creating Salsa Tours PR was born from the motivation and satisfaction I felt every time I visited the island. I was so fixated on getting to know every corner of the island with family and friends during the 25 years I lived in the United States that I was so inspired to do more. After having made the best decision of my life, moving back to the island, I began to do some brainstorming. I thought, "How awesome it would be to do this for a living, sharing the beauty of the island with others.” I turned the idea into a business, providing the highest quality level of tourism services on the land.
