Last day of this round. But not exactly a goodbye. 💙

Yesterday, S.S. São Gabriel and Douro Spirit brought our Team Building to a close.

The jeeps head back. We leave the Quinta behind. And tomorrow, everyone returns to their days on board.

But we hope something will be different: how well we know each other and how we show up for one another.

That doesn’t stay behind at the Quinta.

Another day, two more teams! 🌊

Today, the Splendour and SOC teams arrived at the Quinta for another Team Building journey. Games, challenges, lots of laughter and, above all, the chance to step out of the routine and reconnect.

The energy changes from team to team, but the desire to come together as a team is always the same. 💙

Mais um dia, mais duas equipas! 🌊

Hoje receberam-se na Quinta as equipas do Splendour e do SOC, para mais uma jornada de Team Building. Jogos, desafios, muitas gargalhadas e, acima de tudo, a oportunidade de sair da rotina para voltar a conectar.

A energia muda de equipa para equipa, mas a vontade de nos reencontrarmos enquanto equipa é sempre igual. 💙

Yesterday, Douro Elegance and Douro Queen sat down together for a lunch prepared by our Corporate Chefs. 👨‍🍳

This time, the mission was much easier: eat, talk and enjoy the moment.

This is how teams are built too.

Yesterday, aboard Amavida and A-Rosa Alva, the lifebuoy had a target. 🛟

Outside the game, it’s not always so easy to see where it’s needed.

It might be a colleague who needs a helping hand. It might be one of those moments when a small gesture can completely change someone’s day.

Sometimes, making a difference really is as simple as paying attention.

Fora do jogo, nem sempre é assim tão fácil perceber onde ela faz falta.

Pode ser um colega que precisa de ajuda. Pode ser aquele momento em que uma pequena atitude muda completamente o dia de alguém.

Às vezes, fazer a diferença é mesmo tão simples quanto estar atento.

It wasn’t about who is the fastest. 🦩

For Amadouro, the mission was only complete when the whole team crossed the finish line.

And when swans, toucans and flamingos are involved, coordinating everyone becomes… slightly more interesting. 😂

In the end, they finished exactly as they should: together.

Para Amadouro, a missão só estava cumprida quando toda a equipa atravessava a meta.

E quando há cisnes, tucanos e flamingos envolvidos, coordenar tudo f**a… ligeiramente mais interessante. 😂

No fim, chegaram como deviam: juntos.

Nautical training in the spotlight! 🛟

Safety Drill training is carried out regularly on all Douro Azul ships, to make sure every team is always prepared. This time, it took place on the Amasintra, with Captain Sabido leading the session.

Everyone's safety on board starts with well-prepared teams, and that's exactly what these sessions ensure.

The mission? Protect your team.

Yesterday, Queen Isabel had to work out the best strategy to reach the finish without leaving their teammates to fend for themselves. 😄

There was water. There were plans that worked better than others.

But one thing became clear: it’s much easier to make it to the end when you do it together.

Ontem, Queen Isabel teve de descobrir a melhor estratégia para chegar ao destino sem deixar os colegas entregues à sua sorte. 😄

Houve água. Houve planos que funcionaram melhor do que outros.

Mas uma coisa ficou clara: juntos é muito mais fácil chegar ao fim.
