Great news from Oslo! 🇳🇴❄️

Mystic Cruises is now officially a Full Member of AECO - Association of Arctic Expedition Cruise Operators.

This milestone strengthens our connection with the Arctic expedition cruise community, where sharing knowledge, experiences and operational practices plays an essential role.

We also received an AECO Puffin Pin, a special recognition for going beyond regular membership responsibilities and actively contributing to the association.

A special congratulations to Amadeu Albuquerque, David Sagrista, Daniela Castelo, Didier Drouet and Jonathan Zaccaria, who represented Mystic Cruises at the Arctic Cruise Conference 2026.

Not all of Antarctica’s feathered residents are penguins! 🤍

Meet the Snowy Sheathbill (Chionis albus), a curious little bird with pink skin around its eyes, an unusual beak and no webbed feet.

Often spotted near penguin colonies, it has developed a remarkable ability to find food in unexpected places, from marine invertebrates to leftovers from other animals.

And with November just around the corner, we are getting ready to return to Antarctica for another expedition season filled with opportunities to discover its extraordinary wildlife.

We are on our way to AECO - Association of Arctic Expedition Cruise Operators’s Arctic Expedition Cruise Week 2026, taking place from 20 to 23 October.

One of the highlights is tomorrow’s Arctic Cruise Conference, where professionals, researchers and representatives from Arctic destinations will come together to share knowledge and discuss important topics for the future of expedition cruising.

From protecting marine environments to working with local communities, there is plenty to discuss, and much to learn from one another.

Our fleet is changing continents!

👉 World Traveller is sailing through Spain, Gibraltar, Morocco and Portugal, with Lisbon welcoming her this Sunday, 25 October.
👉 World Navigator is at sea, making her way towards Buenos Aires.
👉 World Voyager is also crossing the Atlantic, heading towards Montevideo.

The Antarctic season is getting closer, and our ships are already making their way towards the next stage of their journeys.

World Traveller is sailing through Malta, Italy, Tunisia and Spain, bringing together Mediterranean ports, cultures and coastlines.

World Voyager is in Setúbal, at Lisnave, where another kind of journey takes place: technical work, care and preparation behind the scenes.

From open sea to shipyard, every moment is part of the life of a fleet.
