🚨 The CCSA has announced that the Thailand Pass will stop being required from 1st July onwards. People also don’t need to buy insurance. However, you may have to show vaccination documents or test results if unvaccinated, if asked. This will continue while the emergency decree remains.

You also won’t be required to wear masks outdoors or in well ventilated places. There will be exceptions like crowded places. Entertainment venues can stay open until 2am and hotels can sell alcohol during the afternoon.

Please note, as usual this isn’t law until it’s published in the royal gazette.

🚨 BREAKING: It was agreed at the CCSA meeting today that vaccinated visitors will no longer need to be tested by RT-PCR. A self-ATK test is only recommended during their stay. They do not need to book a hotel. Insurance is reduced to $10,000. Thailand Pass remains to verify insurance and vaccination status but will be much quicker. Un-Vaccinated people still need a hotel booking and do RT-PCR TEST on Day 5. Expected to start on 1 May.

UPDATE: The Thailand Pass website (https://tp.consular.go.th/home) has just been updated with the news that they will start accepting applications with the new rules on 29th April with entry allowed from 1st May. I’m told approval for vaccinated people could now take only 2-3 days.

As usual, this is not official until published in the Royal Gazette.
