When was the last time you stopped backpacking? 🎒✈️
For me, it was back in 2017 when I finally said goodbye to my backpack and switched to a suitcase with wheels. 😂
It’s been 9 years!
All my old backpacks have already been donated to other travelers, ready to continue their adventures without me.
But yesterday…
an old friend from kindergarten came along and woke up the little bird inside me that had been waiting to fly again. 🐦✈️
Traveling is a lot like being a bird.
It’s about freedom, adventure, and going wherever the wind takes you.
And when you have a friend who shares the same crazy spirit of adventure…
Wherever you go, I go! 😆
Then I thought to myself…
“We’re all 50+ now. Can we really handle backpacking again?” 😂
Whether we can or can’t isn’t just about how much we want to do it anymore.
These days, it also depends on our bodies, our health, and how well we’ve taken care of ourselves.
And THAT is exactly why the older we get,
the more we need to take care of our health.
Because I’m going to wear that backpack again someday… 🎒
Just wait for me, my friend.
